We booked two identical rooms and were offered an upgrade for an additional charge, which we accepted expecting both rooms to be of the same higher standard.
Unfortunately, the two upgraded rooms were of completely different quality. One was noticeably better, while the other did not match the standard we had paid for. When we raised the issue, the staff explained that the hotel was undergoing renovations and that they did not have two upgraded rooms of the same quality available.
This explanation is simply not acceptable. If the hotel cannot provide the product it is selling, it should not offer or charge guests for it. Renovation works are an internal issue and should not result in guests receiving unequal accommodations after paying the same upgrade fee.
Overall, this was disappointing and fell well below the level of service I expected.

This visit was especially meaningful as we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday. The team handled the balloons and birthday cake flawlessly, creating a beautiful surprise that made the occasion even more memorable.
The location is exceptional, placing you in the heart of Monaco while offering a refined and peaceful atmosphere. Hôtel Hermitage is far more than just a place to stay it becomes part of the Monaco experience itself. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly luxurious and unforgettable stay.

This time of the year the hotel was fully booked, to do check in we waited 45 min, and check out almost the same…
the view from the room wasn’t like in the picture… almost can’t see the sea..
