Anassa Hotel

We were looking for five nights of the last Mediterranean warm sun and were drawn to this beautiful property both by Leading Hotels and Wimeya Private Travel. And we found the sun [beautiful weather!} a wonderful establishment and location with warm superbly efficient staff, top notch facilities and very high quality food. Great vibe for solo, couples and family travellers; we hardly left the resort, because we didn't want to. Special shout outs for one of THE best Spas anywhere in the World and superb massages, to their new Padel facility and the two hugely enjoyable games had with the super friendly tennis coach and finally we got home afterwards to the courtesy and efficiency of the General manager, Sebastian Wurst who followed up so gracefully

Hotel is located in an excellent and quiet location.
A 5 star hotel with excellent guest facilities, well trained and well mannered staff.
Restaurants and food quality also were excellent.

Great hotel, the staff are amazing. A place to totally relax and chill out. The sunrises are spectacular. Would recommend without hesitation.

Lacks customer service and management skills. Very poor internal communication. Forget orders, no turn down service even if requested multiple times. They deprogram your keys day before your check out. Upon check out our transfer had not been coordinated. Despite been request ahead of time with their guest services team.

Too bad the place is nice but lacks good management and customer service.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning and did not immediately appreciate the beauty of the Anassa estate. Well come the morning espresso in hand and sitting on the room terrace looking over Mediterranean pines and out to sea was a moment of instant decompression. It’s a rare thing to find a hotel that is instantly so relaxing. Our visit was a wedding celebration held in the hotel grounds, a truly Cypriot affair and one firmly etched in the memory banks, for all the right reasons. The staff at Anassa are deserving of a big shout out always friendly and welcoming but keeping that 5 star professionalism on display at all times. I could bang on more but quite simply just book a stay and find out for yourselves…

World class experience, from the time you arrive to the time you depart. The professional approach allowing you to maintain your own private space to assisting with any needs required were meet with friendly staff and personal.

Not much to fault the Anassa. Located on the northern coast of southern Cyprus and nestled away from busy Paphos. We stayed for 2 nights and loved it.
The hotel is beautifully decorated in understated elegance.
We stayed in a sea view room which was large with a lovely balcony with an amazing view of the sea.
The pool area is clean with super comfortable loungers and although the hotel was busy, it felt quiet and very private.
The beach has lots of seating and again despite being busy, didn't feel like it.
This part of the area has a shingle beach, which meant that the water is crystal clear. Having travelled to various parts of the island during our trip, this was the best beach despite not having sand.
The breakfast is varied, lacking a few vegetarian options but still plenty to eat, with delicious locally sourced cheeses, which was a nice touch.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
We had drinks at the bar which was lovely with views looking out to the sea.
The thing I remember most about the hotel is how peaceful it was, a place to truly relax and unwind.
A must to any visit to Cyprus.

Having stayed at many quality hotels in Europe & elsewhere the quality of this hotel stands out. The quality of the rooms, the service, its beautiful location & its exceptional restaurants make it one of the very best. The whole resort is excellently designed and maintained from the buildings to gardens creating a clean, spacious & relaxing atmosphere throughout while maintaining a raft of amenities. As for the restaurants well they deserve a 6th star.

We have been coming to the Anassa since 2013 - sometimes twice a year. The hotel is extremely well run and the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. I like to swim at sunrise and even at 6am the staff are on the beach tidying it up and greeting you cheerfully despite the early hour. This continues throughout the day with an exceptional open air breakfast, drinks overlooking the sea before dinner and then some amazing restaurants (our favourites are the Helios and The Basiliko). Hard (if not impossible) to find fault.

This was our first time at the Anassa, we chose it having stayed twice at The Anabelle some years ago, we knew the format and wanted a restful fly and flop holiday which we got. The hotel has a resort feel with low level buildings and we really liked the beach option.
The Anassa is a lovely hotel, service is good and the quality of food and drink excellent. We especially enjoyed Helios. Communal spaces are beautiful and everywhere spotless.
The staff to guest ratio is high and we never waited too long for anything, we were warmly welcomed by the reception team who were always helpful. The Anassa offers excellent value compared to other hotel groups with similar offers.
Some things are a bit tired, mainly bedrooms need a degree of refurbishment, for example the wardrobe doors are old fashioned, beach towels are probably in the final season and there aren’t enough sockets for travellers needs in the right location.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return again for an end of summer break.

12th visit in the last 20 years, always consistently amazing. Wonderful hotel, staff, facilities, food and Spa. We'll be back!

The grounds are so pretty the staff are lovely, the room was airy and spacious
The hotel generally is in need of updating. The quality of the food, the fittings all have seen better days. The fish which should have available bearing in mind the location of the hotel and its close proximity to fishing villages was either not on the menu or very poor. Lunch by the pool was not inviting and was presented in airline type plastic trays. This hotel is in need of a refit and a rethink. Sadly have to say neither I nor my husband enjoyed one meal. We ate dinner out in a couple of very pretty and so reasonable restaurants in Polis. Have to mention Arsinoe Fish Tavern which was great and became our regular go to.

The pool staff were lovely but mostly invisible in the afternoons. It would have been nice to have assistance in re positioning the heavy sun beds on the grass area.

Our flight was delayed by BA who as so often happens with them, let our country down but that’s another story. However we were so lucky to spend a night at the Amara in Limassol where we have stayed before .Fabulous as ever. My mind is made up. It’s the Amara from here on in.

This is a regular multi generational family stay. It is a very special place with excellent levels of service. The location is excellent.

The most special hotel there is to visit in Cyprus.
We spend 4 days at Anassa to celebrate our anniversary and it was fantastic.
The level of attendance and service is unlike anything Cyprus has to offer. The staff goes above and beyond to meet all expectations. From reception to beach staff, restaurant personnel, every single interaction was top notch.
The hotel itself is lovely, secluded, extremely well maintained. The beach setup is great and calm.
Food quality and variety at breakfast and main restaurants is also at a very high level.

Will be returning back for sure!

Anassa never fails to deliver. A beautiful hotel with really outstanding staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The restaurants too are first rate. For a relaxing holiday - unbeatable (again)

An exceptional property where service is excellent and facilities amazing.

The location, the hotel, the unique beach — it was an absolutely stunning, paradise-like place. The rooms, the service — I would honestly say not just 5 stars, but 7 stars! The pillows, the bedding, the cleanliness, the attention to detail, the view, the privacy — everything was top-notch. The beach was incredible, with comfortable sunbeds, spotlessly clean and brand-new mattresses, and perfectly maintained walkways. And the food was absolutely delicious. Truly exceptional in every way.

I stayed in Anassa numerous times. I can say with confidence that the hotel truly embraces and reflects the true spirit of hospitality to its guests. The hotel maintains a high level of customer service in all areas (from the reception, pool area, restaurants, etc). The hotel provides a large area of beautiful gardens and a stunning sea view experience which is truly remarkable. Anassa is one of the best options to stay for a luxury and memorable vacations.
