Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

As part of our continued commitment to provide exceptional services to our valued guests, some facilities within the Sports & Recreation Center at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club and in Glenmarie Hotel & Golf Resort are partially closed for renovations. However, our Gymnasium, Outdoor Tennis Courts and Swimming Pools are open to all Members and Guests. Various parts of the property will be undergoing renovation from 3 Jan 2023 until further notice.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Cons:

Breakfast was just fair.
Limited choice of food
Toilet door knob was damage upon arrival
Order for in dining meal, the terminal charge was faulty and has to pay twice(very hassle as need to deal with bank and so on so forth as it charged double)
Accidentally scratch the memo pad and we need to pay for the damage almost rm150 for mere paper pad
Overall very dissatisfied and it is the worst experience ever stay here
Not gonna stay here in the future

Pleasant few days at the Glenmarie - great staff
Pros:

The room was excellent. Spacious, comfortable, clean and with lots of good storage space. Staff were excellent throughout, and very responsive when an issue was raised regarding work and noise at the hotel.

Cons:

There was substantial work going on at the hotel, which meant a lot of noise and reduced facilities. Unfortunately, we hadn't been made aware of this prior to our arrival. That said, within an hour of sending an email pointing out our disappointment, we were engaged by management and given our last two days free. This is a really good hotel, with excellent staff. I would suggest waiting however until all the substantial improvement works have been completed before enjoying the hotel and facilities at their best.

Pros:

The food variety is sufficient, and it tastes good.

Cons:

The restaurant floor was oily, and the seats were dirty, with stains and sticky surfaces.

The parking area was very poor. It is an outdoor parking area with uneven and hollow ground.

Noise from other rooms could be easily heard.

The bottled water provided was difficult to open, and the water had an unusual taste.

Großzügige Hotel/Golfanlage

Cons:

Hotel und Restaurants werden im Moment umgebaut - kein Lärm, aber trotzdem ärgerlich. Nur beschränkte Speisekarte mit Roomservice. Aber: Hotel mit Potential.

Had a great stay
Pros:

Room - fantastic, looks newly renovated as fixtures are modern. Love the bathroom and scent of toiletries but the handwash liquid smells like a cheap disinfectant ( it did not match with the shampoo, shower gel & lotion provided).

Breakfast - nice spread, good quality cheeses available. Vegetarian choices included in the spread. Quite disappointed that eventhough I booked an executive club room, my request for milo/ hot chocolate during breakfast was met with, " it is chargeable, not included in the buffet " I usually do not drink coffee and I feel that a cup of milo/ hot chocolate as a special request would not break the hotel's bank.

Bed - spacious and linen smelled nice. Pillows were a bit too soft but I realised too late that a pillow menu was available.

Cons:

Housekeeping and front office staff knocked loudly ( the urgency and loudness normally used for emergencies) for 2 separate reasons:
- housekeeping to check if we needed the room to be tidied
- front office staff - to check if we were extending our stay despite being given an extended check out time as part of the room perks.

Solides Hotel zu einem guten PreiS
Pros:

Blick auf den Golfkurs und der große Balkon.

Cons:

Aktuell wird dort schwer umgebaut. Dass das mit der einen oder anderen Einschränkung einher geht, liegt auf der Hand. Aber wenn man in Shah Alam zu tun hat, ist das ein sehr schönes Hotel.

me and my family will return to this property, because my parents love the cozyness, quiet and safe.
Pros:

it stated that, room breakfast include, but only one person entitle each room. this is bad.
I booked 2 rooms, only two persons instead of four persons are entitle for hotel breakfast, i'am so so sad on this.

Cons:

i didnt like the toilet glass door to big, when i entre the shower area, the glass door is too big, which is full space consumportion.
