One Aldwych

Our travel agent booked us. We would never have found this by ourselves...It was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful facility, excellent service. Will definitely stay there again.

I cannot say whether the hotel has been recently refurbished or simply maintained with exceptional care, but the suite we stayed in was immaculate. The thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, a complimentary minibar with snacks, the welcoming sweet‑and‑savory mix, and the 'handwritten' note made the experience feel very special.
I also want to acknowledge the wonderfully diverse team working there. The range of nationalities represented brings a depth of professionalism through their dedication to their craft.
The restaurant is bijou yet extremely comfortable, with an intimate feel and beautifully presented, delicious food. The bar area shifts effortlessly from a relaxed daytime café vibe to an evening atmosphere reminiscent of an American styled cocktail bar, stylish, warm, and inviting.
Lastly the library area was a welcome chillout area only available to hotel guest which was a really nice touch in the multiple seating area to simply hangout & unwind.

Wonderful gluten free options, does not appear that restaurant is completely gluten free anymore but was safe for my celiac child.
Was noisy facing Strand on a Saturday night- request upper level floor or room not facing Strand if you are sensitive to noise for sleep quality!

The hotel is quite superb from the moment you enter the building. Beautiful settings and friendly staff.

All the facilities are superb including the chlorine free pool which made my stay, as chlorine makes me extremely unwell. The staff in the spa section were also extremely friendly, polite and helpful.

Our breakfast options were possibly the best I have ever had the pleasure to choose from. I was amazed that we had so many different delicious items that were included in our room cost. Again the service was exemplary by every waiter male and female.

This is an expensive hotel, but you do feel that you have stayed somewhere very special indeed.

It was our 35th wedding anniversary and we felt like royalty.

We can’t stay there as often as we would like but we will definitely be returning as soon as we can for special occasions.

We also enjoyed that we could have our room until midday. It made the morning so much more relaxed allowing time for a swim and to thoroughly enjoy the incredible breakfast.

Very highly recommended. Go and treat yourself, you will be pleased that you did.

An amazing hotel - incredibly thoughtful design and amenities including complimentary mini bar full of snacks, excellent turndown service, multi socket wall plugs (no converters needed), lovely bathrooms, Dyson hair dryers, and excellent front door service. Really bright but soothing palette in terms of decor of the rooms - recessed lighting, full desk, automatic drapes Etc. and excellent food- we had mainly breakfast and late night snacks.

Loved the location for tourist activities as well. Really easy walk to several stations and the Strand and Covent Garden.

A bit busy as an area but that’s London!

Excellent proximity to theater district. Friendly staff, especially Celia a manager at the restaurant! Concierge was helpful with our itinerary and restaurant reservations.

The rooms are inspiring, the pool feels almost private, and the Royal Albert Hall is easily reached via the number 9 bus.
We arrive with our memories and leave with new ones, always with the certainty of rediscovering that unique harmony we have not found anywhere else.

Lovely hotel, very welcoming and very comfortable. Hannah at the desk, Salvatore hosting the delightful lounge bar, and our lovely server at the bar (I did not catch her name) made me feel extra welcome and well-hosted, and took the trouble to make my own unexpected guest feel the same. The one drawback to my beautiful and airy room, if you happen to be a light sleeper, was the 30 minute bout of noise as the Lion King let out next door. If you are a light sleeper, maybe ask for a room on the Kingsway side of the hotel instead!

The first night there was a small gift in the room to welcome us and congratulate us on our anniversary. We had a lovely room but some building mechanical issues made noise throughout the night and needed repair. We spoke next morning to the staff and without hesitation they moved us to a spectacular room on an upper floor. The were friendly and very focused on our experience.

The gym facilities are terrific. The location is excellent if you want to be in the heart of the West End.

I celebrated my engagement and anniversary with my fiancé at the hotel on Sunday, it was a good experience I was upgraded to a deluxe room by the staff at the reception, she was very helpful and arranged a staff member to take my luggage. She also took us to our room and explained the amenities. I was hoping to be upgraded to a suite due to the occasion but it never happened I was not to disappointed the room was nice, we received a treat and a nice message. The pool was nice as well as the sauna and steam room. It was a nice stay I would like to thank the staff for the hospitality. I would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous hotel and staff , excellent location .

I cannot say enough about this gem of a hotel. The bedding and bed were super comfortable, the entire hotel was spotless clean, room service food was delicious, the bar area was welcoming and enjoyable and the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The location in and of itself was worth the trip. The hotel could not have been any more perfect, and we fell in love with London! Thank you!
