Great location. Old historical building.
Breakfast was fantastic. Felt like “old Switzerland”.

Pros:

One of the nicest and friendliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve been all over the world. The view of the mountains from our balcony on the front of the hotel was breathtaking.

Good value for location; safe, quiet, clean and wonderfully staffed.
Pros:

Staff were absolutely lovely. I was sorting out sports related equipment to support a mountain race the following day; when they came in to do turn down they replaced the piles exactly where they were so well I didn‘t even notice they had turned down the bed until I discovered the cookie! Everyone was helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and respectful. They helped me with my luggage, moved my car for me, answered questions about the town and their services. Would stay again.

Cons:

Kitchen was a bit slow during dinner / evening. Food itself was good in the restaurant though!

- they're using the old style doors key, with heavy key chain, you have to submit it to the reception when you go out and take it back.

De kamers waren oud, vies, warm, geen stoel, geen opener. Helft van de stopcontacten was kapot. Sowieso geen stopcontact aan beide kanten van het bed. Waterschade, Ontbijt was vies. Al met al een van mijn alle slechtste ervaringen in een hotel. Prijs kwaliteit echt verschrikkelijk zo veel geld en dan zo een oude bende.

The location of the hotel was very good, close to the Ost train station and Harder Kulm funicular. We really liked the breakfast, it had plenty of options and there was a baby cot and amenities for our toddler. We room was spacious and the staff helpful.

Cons:

The price is high but in the town and the area the prices were very high in general so this hotel was reasonable option.
