Amazing location for price. Like the check in process of not having to contact front desk. Early check in availability.

Location, staff was accommodating, and room was very clean.

Cons:

Bed mattress was not comfortable. Sheets made up for it a bit .

I’d rather spnd$200 and stay at Marriott property with breakfast than $115 and stay here.

Pros:

The property was a good walking distance to the aquarium, and the beaches, the location had a nice view of the ocean from the room I had selected! The hotel room overall was very clean and the staff was available 24-7 I would definitely recommend!

Great front desk and maintenance staff, facility is falling apart.
Pros:

The location of the property was great. You could walk to the beach and several places to eat within a minute or 2. The staff was so nice and really tried to fix the issues we had.

Cons:

When we got there our toilet was bubbling and almost flooded over. The poor young man working at the desk tried to fix it and got maintenance to come by. Both men were very accommodating but we were only staying one night and just wanted to shower and go to bed. Several hours later our toilet was fixed and we were told it was a mainline problem affecting several rooms. The hotel was fully booked so switching rooms wasn’t an option. Again, the staff was great and handled the situation as best they could. Sometime during the night the toilet started bubbling again. So that kept us up all night. We were all exhausted the next day and just annoyed we weren’t offered any discount or anything.

A total rip off
Pros:

The only thing that’s halfway good about this hotel is the location. This place is a dive though, don’t be fooled by the pictures and reviews- which I’m sure they have filtered out. It has not been updated. Our room smelled very musty, the fireplace clanked, the water pressure was bad, and the bed was sunken in. It was a total rip off for $450. It felt unclean; you are better off saving some money and staying at a reliable chain.

Very nice hotel in a fabulous location.
Pros:

The room was very nice with a fireplace and balcony. The bathroom area was very modern. The bed was comfortable.
The location was good. It is a short walk, less than 10 minutes to Cannery Row but right across the street from the bay. There is a walking, biking trail right behind the hotel. The view from the balcony over the bay was beautiful.

Cons:

Check in was difficult as they tried to have it set up just to get the room number and code texted to us but the system wasn't working right for us. We were evenutally able to get someone to help us and he was very nice. We asked for rooms near each other but we were on different floors. The parking spots are tight.

Perfect location for a very short walk to the beach. Rooms were super quiet and the staff was very helpful with any questions we had. Definitely coming back.
