The room was a clean but old furniture and fixtures. I also didn't like that check-out was an on-line person on a kiosk.
The hotel has a fair price, close to the main street and the aquarium. For those that are going just to visit the aquarium or to spend one or two days is a very good option. There is a parking place and you can do everything by walking.

The location was perfect. Close to all the stores/restaurants and even closer to the beach. I also enjoyed the outside sitting area which is accessible from your room.
It would have been nice to have a fireplace in the outside sitting area.
The location is perfectly central and walkable to Cannery Row and the Wharf.
Bed was too firm and uncomfortable, price was too high for the quality of the facilities.

Smell. Lack of the promised view. Would not move us. So we cancelled and left

Location! Right on the water - you can hear the seals and gulls all day! The rooms are clean and adequate and the little fireplaces are a nice touch.
Not much. There is a weird 24/7 lobby assistant which is like a zoom call in the lobby. It’s weird to have a stranger watch you make your coffee on a TV screen.
