There was no breakfast. Location was fine.
Comforters were too heavy. Our fridge kept freezing our food and drinks.
The hotel is dirty and in need of a deep cleaning and maintance. The suite's windows were disgustingly dirty.
I flushed the toilet and it didn't flush. I had to open the lid and fix that.
I got in the shower and there was mold on the shower tiles.
I did not stay the night. In fact, I had a shower and left. I was there for about a half hour and was not about to spend the night.
I had emailed a few times earlier to ask for an early check in, between 12:30-1. Their email response "alright", then asked me for my name and info.
When I arrived and asked for early check in he said no, they couldn't do it. I mentioned that I had requested it via email. He sort of laughed and said, well we need time to clean.
I asked if I could get another room, earlier, and he said no. He offered a 2 pm check in. He said come back and we will see if we can do 1. So I got in at 1.
I had emailed the hotel directly initially to book, then when I asked about priciing and that Booking.com offered a lower rate, I received no reply. So I went with Booking.com, as I did not hear back from them.
Location is good. Staff was nice.
My room was quite dirty... They switched my room to a different bigger one, but found it to be fairly dirty too, cleaned out the tub and stuff myself with makeup wipes so I could have a bath because I found hair in tub, finger prints on windows, dirty fridge, other dirt ect in room, also had an ant problem near the bathroom sink in the room. Gave up on switching rooms again because I was tired. Also pool was closed for renovations..
The price and location were very good. The rooms were clean. Close to the beach and eating places.
Although the price was very good, the rooms and hotel in genreral require some maintenance. My friend's room had a space heater for heat. There was damage to the walls and furniture and the carpets were frayed in places. Tiles were falling off the exterior walls out side.
.
Didn't have breakfast! Left esrly to catch a flight.
Tub was very slippery, I'm old so couldn't use it. Also, there were no grab rails so really not safe for me. Light in the bathroom was only about half bright.
Clean and comfortable
Mone
Bed and pillows were very comfortable price was fair for off season
Carpet had large stain area, used coffee grounds were left in the coffee machine, tile very dirty in the shower
Employees Five Star
The manager went out of his way to accommodate us. The original kitchenette room fan wasn’t working so they upgraded us to a lake view suite and gave us the hotplate we needed. Great service. The building is old, but we love it for the excellent customer service and value.
the staff seemed nice
there were bugs, someone opened our hotel rooms door at 1am & because of the lock wasnt able to open it fully which slammed the door back shut waking us up & we heard whoever it was close a door nearby. It was quite scary, ontop of the bugs, my mattress had brown stains, the overall building was pretty ran down, the koi pond had dead kois floating in it. really disappointed.
The towels
1. The place has no heating. The tiny heater they provided was useless.
2. Check in and out time are timed so that the customers cannot use the included hot spring pool entrance. Also, the only reason why I chose the hotel was bec it includes the hot spring pool entrance. Yet, the hotel didn't mention that the hot spring pool was shut down for maintainence during my stay there.
3. The place is so run down. The carpet has stains on them.
This place should not be in business. The pictures are deceiving. Not providing heat during the winter is unacceptable.
