A disappointing stay.

The hotel is overdue for a total renovation . The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling. The bath tub tap dripped constantly UNLESs it was tightly shut . The wash basin was clogged and drained too slowly. When I reported it to the Front desk staff, I was told I just had to pour liquor into the wash basin to clear blockage! The hotel badly needs a hands on General manager , a good maintenance staff . Worst of all, when we went for breakfast , we were presented with a Take Out paper box filled with 2 muffins, 2 small pre cooked cheese omelettes 2 small fruit cups and 2 tubs of yoghurt and were expected to eat it either in our room or elsewhere but not in the hotel's Courtyard restaurant.

Couldn't sleep because it was so nasty.

Absolutely horrid. Dirty bedding with blood stains and fluids on the other beds sheets. Stains on mattresses and chairs and floors. Even the chocolate from the vending machine was stale. Broken down things in the bedroom. Mold and mildew on the bathroom ceiling. Wallpaper tore off the walls hanging. When ac turned on, was foul air, like the ducts hadn't been cleaned. When went to ask for another room as we checked in late, the other room was not even finished being made up and was not clean either. I've stayed at many a hotel and this was was by far the worst. My friend has even more pictures than I took.

Very Disappointing Stay — Poor Cleanliness and Maintenance
Cons:

Stayed at the Harrisson Lake Hotel over the long weekend and unfortunately would not recommend it. The hotel overall feels very neglected and poorly maintained.

The carpets throughout the hotel were dirty and stained, including in our room. The corridor had missing baseboards, towels were rough and had holes in them, and even the duvet appeared dirty.

We understand this is a more budget-friendly hotel, but we still expect basic cleanliness and upkeep. Overall, the property lacks care and did not meet even minimum expectations.

Location is great. Price is great.

Cons:

Place is run down. Bathroom ceiling completely water stained, scary actually. They have a coffee maker but no coffee. Make sure you bring everything you need. Was nice to have a fireplace in the room.
