Cheap stay for the night. Keep your shoes on inside the room.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location, very comfortable bed.

Cons:

Very run down and filthy. They were doing renovations but didn’t say that on their website.
Cigarette butts everywhere outside, stained carpets, looks like no upkeep had been done in years.

Pay the extra and stay somewhere else!
Pros:

The bed was clean and the location was great but the positives stop there.

Cons:

The carpet had stains literally everywhere, like everywhere. It was bad enough that we kept our shoes on as some looked fairly new. The bathroom trim was held on with green painters tape in some areas and the trim installed, wasn't done well, didn't belong and was obviously covering something. While everything was wiped down, it was very clear that a decent clean, especially the bathroom had not been done in awhile, but at least the room didn't smell. The large loonie sized spider that lives in the bathroom behind the trim and vanity, who we named 'Steve', kept to himself which my wife was happy for. This was a last minute booking for us and we didn't read the reviews, so bad on us but this place is a definite do not recommend until the hotel Reno's are done which apparently are underway but didn't see or hear them.

Decent for the price, could be infinitely better with very little effort
Pros:

Central, undergoing major renovations , breakfast included

Cons:

Shower grouts moldy, tiles dirty, washroom fan not working , washroom ceiling in need of major repair
Room had windows that could open so low to the ground to be a major risk for kids or pets to fall down ( 3 storey building)

Needs a deep renovation
Pros:

The building was obviously at one time really beautiful

Cons:

We had ants in our room, the carpet was heavily stained and it was in the’renovated’ portion of the hotel. If you have a young child, the windows are a hazard potentially. They open outward and are floor level. I liked they opened, but I think many toddlers could open them and fall out them easily.

Worst ever hotel experience in my life. Was promised a refund and have not got one
Pros:

Nothing. We did not stay. Checked in saw the room and checked out

Cons:

Right from the entrance, to the underground parking and the room were all shady, filthy and worse than a third rate motel. The room was crawling with bugs, lady birds, spiders, hornets. Carpet was filthy with do urine stains and stench.

Worst Place in the Western world I have stayed, The court yard looked like a building in the middle
Pros:

Hotel very scruffy, Building work going on. Old place not repaired in years. If visited by local health would probably be condemned.. Two worst days ever in a Booking.co Hotel.
