We had a great time.
Pros:

The best location, the facility is clean, breakfast is good and they have all the amenities you need. And most of all, all the staff are friendly and nice and very helpful.

Great waterfront location.
Pros:

Gazebo overlooking ocean. Location. Bed comfortable. Clean room, felt very coastal.

Cons:

The a/c didn't cool the room well making it unable to sleep well the first night. Took cover off and found the coils were extremely dirty the next morning. My husband works in HVAC so he used the broom in the room to clean the dirt off the coils inside the room. Worked much better the next night. Took pics and showed staff at check out.

beautiful vacation john yancey oceanfront made it even better
Pros:

kill devil's hill room 508. was right on the beach. beautiful view. excellent house keeping services. alot of restaurants in walking distance. room could have been a little bigger but overall loved everything. plan on going back and staying at John yancey again

room could have been bigger that is my only complaint. nothing else to complain about

Pros:

Staff was very accommodating.
Location was perfect. Close to the beach and several restaraunts within walking distance.

Cons:

For an older room with very few amenities, it was pretty expensive.

Great Location!
Pros:

Great location! Staff were very friendly!

Cons:

Odd smell and A/C was old and made the room very humid. I know part of the humidity is due to the location but room was so humid it made my clean clothes damp.
