It smelled like a stale cigarette when you walked in the building, dead bugs in the bathroom. The shower pad was moldy. We heard loud noises from the unit above. This was the only hotel available near ISU for parent weekend.
I can only blame myself for procrastinating and not booking earlier.
The beds were very comfortable and free from bed bugs.
The entire hotel had weird smell including the room and the bathroom was in need of repair and was dirty. I didn't even use the shower because it looked gross. I felt like I was staying at the Schitt's Creek motel.
Building seemed vacant, we were only ones there. No Kleenex in bathroom, tv barely worked, rooms smelled musty. Just bad experience overall.
We made a list of all the issues we had
TV didn’t work
Dead bugs on the floor
No one staying here. First night we were the only car in the parking lot. Made the first night very uncomfortable
Bathroom door doesn’t close
Bathroom outdated
No iron
Multiple spots needed to be painted
No chair for the desk
One of the lights didn’t work
Holes in the wall
No breakfast
Was told to walk to other hotel to get breakfast
We tried to find another place to stay for the second night but since it was last minute all hotels close were either sold out or very expensive so we were forced to stay the second night or else we would have checked out.
Looked abandoned, uninhabited. No one at checkin, just a phone number. The phone number went to the desk of next door Quality Inn, they had a room there. Sketchy!
Bathroom was in poor shape, door would not shut properly. Shower had no pressure & the room was only cleaned once during are hole stay. Plus the hotel was under construction.
This hotel was very accommodating
Under remodel. Not many amenities but nice room. They didn’t clean the room 2/3 days so we ran out of towels and no one was ever at the front desk. Other than that, all good. Would prob stay here again.
Bathroom door doesnt close. No common space to sit. No food. Have to go next door for breakfast. Under renovation. Lights flicker.
just one night
This place is in bad shape. Needs a complete makeover. Bathrooms are a disaster.
Just reopened, much like putting lipstick on a pig. Staff not trained on check in.
Mentioned several times how much they hate working with third party check in (hotels.com) Offered cold coffee in morning. Positives = new flooring, clean sheets, ok bed, repainted but in god-awful colors.
.
The phone wasn't even hooked up. No maid service. No ice. Horrible place.
The hotel looks like it’s 1 step away from filing bankruptcy and being abandoned. Total mess. They also charged us twice for our stay and are refusing to refund one of the charges. Will never stay here again, would rather sleep in my car!
This is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Our room was filthy with hair in the shower. There was a crack pile left in the nightstand. Do not stay here under any circumstances.
So when we got there to check in they told us they were all booked up, no explanation apology and we were still charged for the room. Now we’re just waiting to see if we’re going to get our 128.00 back!
For the things that we were doing it was a very convenient area. Thanks Expedia
Outside of property is very run down and looks deserted. No cars in parking lot (not even the 1 employee). Lobby was clean and room was recently updated cosmetically but not mechanically. No ice, no coffee, AC worked but squealed so loud I just sweated without it. For $84 it wasn’t horrible, but I’m sure for $10 more I could have found some place more inviting.
The hotel was being remodeled and was not ready for use. the bedroom was ok but the bathroom was terrible. The sink was full of drywall/paint drips, which was found all over the bathroom and the floor was very dirty.
We should not have been charged full price when they obviously were not ready to open.
