Fine
Pros:

Location

Cons:

Being woken up aggressively through the night by another guest who had got the wrong room. Although the hotel claims to be 24hrs, no one was present when I arrived back at approximately 11.45pm and in all honesty I wasn’t sure whether to ring the police. Reception staff were not apologetic or helpful in the morning.

Convenient for us as we were collecting a relative from Scotch Corner, not for a weekend break.
Pros:

The food was good, we very much enjoyed breakfast and dinner. We liked the relaxed feel in the communal lounge/ bar areas. The staff were lovely. The pool was nearby across the car park. There are EV chargers which was great however 2 did not work but luckily the third we tried did.

Cons:

The hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment. The toilet is too low as a child’s size toilet. The safe didn’t work and neither did the fridge. The road noise woke us early and you could easily hear people in the corridors. The kettle got stuck under the tap as I filled it because it’s just too big, not sure how I could fill it. Although it was nice to have a swim and sauna, it was very busy holding swimming lessons and the place wasn’t clean.

Comfortable and good value for money
Pros:

Staff were nice, mostly clean and modern. Very comfortable bed.

Cons:

We only got 1 towel in the room (2 adults) but were too tired to request another. Also the bins weren't lined which was odd. Could use a bit of mould cleaning in the bathroom.

Left us stranded on the street at 1am
Pros:

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Cons:

This hotel has a policy to oversell fully paid rooms and not meet their legal obligations to find alternative accommodation. They left us on the street at 1am 300 miles from home with nowhere to go..

They also REFUSED to compensate us for this despite having a legal obligation to do so, we are in the process of making a claim against them..

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Pros:

The location was ideal but I thought the price was high for the room and breakfast .
We have had much better breakfasts at premier inns for alot less money .
Holiday inns used to be much better than premier inns . Staff were very friendly parking was free but breakfast was big disappointment poor selection of cereals .
Sliced bread for toast wasn’t particularly nice just passable and cooked breakfast was warm not hot and just bland but very appealing in general. Watermelon was lovely though . Coffee machine was really busy and off putting as people were coming through from the bar using the same machine

Clean, good breakfast, great staff.

Fan in bathroom was noisy through the evening and the road outside was loud so I didn’t get much sleep.
