Ramada by Wyndham Diplomat Canberra

This is my most favourite accomodation in the ACT. Amazing, friendly staff, great management and comfortable beds. Looking forward to many more stays. Thanks to the team at Ramada for you awesome hospitality.

Wonderful accomodation ,absolutely beautiful. The staff were wonderful also ,and very helpful and friendly.
Plenty of undercover secure parking .
Will be back when we are next in Canberra.Also the restaurant was very clean and the food excellent.

I stayed for two nights. On the morning of the second day, I placed all the used towels on the edge of the bathtub, expecting them to be replaced. I was quite surprised to return that evening and find the same used towels hung back on the shelves, with no fresh towels provided.

Having travelled to many countries, I assumed it was common practice that towels placed together after use would be replaced. I was not convinced by the explanation that only towels left on the floor would be changed.

While the staff were generally friendly and helpful, the housekeeping service was disappointing. The hotel is not new, and combined with the substandard housekeeping, it made it difficult to feel that the room was truly clean.

Very clean, comfortable and quiet, value for money. Liked having the restaurant available and the food and service was great

Location is just perfect. Hotel is clean, room is spacious, most of the attending staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food is good too 👍🏻

Another great stay at Ramada Diplomat! The location is excellent, and parking is easy and free. I really enjoy the overall atmosphere of the hotel. While it’s not brand new, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and the air conditioning works well. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was the best meal of the weekend—delicious and excellent value. This is definitely one of my top places to stay in Canberra, especially if you’re travelling with family or friends. Highly recommended!

Did not stay there but went to the restaurant with my family. We live locally and used to go there about 10 years ago and used to enjoy it.
Not so this time. The prices are very expensive and the servings are very small. My wife had the barramundi. I've never seen such a small serve. We complained and were given a bowl of fries on the house. Still hungry when we left. We won't be going back. The only positive is the service was good.

This hotel has super friendly staff, the room was really beautiful in the colour scheme, and spacious. It's in a good location, and was quiet, despite a busy road outside. Loved having a couple of swims in the pool, gym equipment is good. Had 2 breakfasts, and 1 room service dinner, all were delicious! Total value for money.

A great stay overall — clean rooms, good amenities, and friendly staff who went out of their way to help. All at a very reasonable price.

We had decided to take the train to travel to Canberra and the Ramada is within easy walking distance from Canberra Station. The staff have created a warm and inviting atmosphere - professional but relaxed. Our room was impeccably clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. We ordered room service a couple of times during our stay - and staff were very responsive. It’s also worth eating in the restaurant - food was great!

We used public transport to find our way around and again, the hotel was within an easy walking distance to the bus stop.

An excellent stay and we will do it again.

Have stayed here several times now and it is a great place to stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable, nice pool, easy access in and around the area.

All the staff were extremely helpful, the room was good, breakfast was excellent and the whole experience actually exceeded our expectations, great place to be to explore the sights of Canberra

Location was great close to Manuka and Kingston for pubs and grocery store.
Atmosphere was serene, large smart tv.
Room generous size with couch, king bed and little fridge.
Value is comparable to other hotels
Cleanliness is great room is cleaned at 12 pm daily.
Noise level is not great, as outside car park was right near our window
Bar staff were terrific with the diplomat hour 5-6 in evening we received a free alcoholic drink and canapé
Amenities totally 👍 💯 in ground pool 🏊 was amazing , restaurant had 5 star dining we had breakfast included and were able to order off menu very generous size items
There is undercover car park which is sufficient
Manager is so friendly, helpful and always available for a chat whenever you see him, he greets you with a smile 😊
It is about 15 min to Canberra city to see parliament houses, the mint, archives, Australian national museum and locally is steam train 🚂 museum near our hotel

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The in-room dining service was good, with delicious food that exceeded our expectations - everything we ordered tasted amazing! The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. We also appreciated the convenience of the guest-free laundry facilities. Overall, a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Great location. Nice atmosphere. Large well appointed room. Undercover parking. Good value breakfast. Nice, not too large a menu in restaurant. Highly recommended for a city break.

Kateland at reception was very helpful and courteous . The rooms were clean with clean towels and the breakfast was good value and sumptuous. The free parking was a bonus.
