Ok for location.
Thin walls. Heard everything from adjacent rooms. Didn’t get any sleep. As a lone female visitor, I did not feel safe. Don’t waste your time or money.
The staff on the desk were lovely
I didn’t like the beds they were uncomfortable the room was grubby and they put us in a room full of druggys that didn’t sleep at all and they were banging on my door at 10 the next morning . Hence why I didn’t stay on the Saturday night we left and went home it wasn’t on at all.
The bathroom
Bed was too hard and staff wasn't interested on reception
Place was beautiful inside
Rooms need a fan as was quite warm during the night, chairs and tables outside need a bit of a wash down
The bin was not emptied
The area is quiet and descreet,for a peaceful time.
The carpet was clean but being old,had a dust feeling which could irritate a sensitive person like me.

Beautiful old building, Sunday fry up excellent, staff nice and helpful. Good standard of cleanliness. Big garden too. Bargain really. Will stay again. There was a birthday party going on that looked really good so now I'm considering future events here too.

The room (515) was comfortable but a bit tired. The shower was not hot, despite waiting for some minutes, so we had to leave without showers. The bathroom was also a bit chilly. Due to the season, the hotel was very quiet and breakfast was limited from 8am to 8:30am. Also the restaurant was closed in the evening so the reception provided us with some recommendations for meals.

Step going into the bedroom very dangerous as u step into the bedroom thé step is there if u didn’t read the warning on the bedroom door
The room was extremely clean and tidy. To be honest I didn't expect much for the money I paid, and on the outside the hotel does not look much. BUT inside is really cosy, a bit old fashioned but in good way, and rooms well decorated and maintained. Reception staff very welcoming and friendly.
