Horrible - don’t stay here

Cons:

Room was awful and nothing like the photos on booking.com. Apparently we were not staying in the executive wing which is where all the photos were taken
At £220 per night I was stunned as to the bad room provided - no alternatives were offered
Mattress was probably 20 years old, bed wasn’t changed and towels not replaced and when I complained I was told room service had gone home so there was nothing they could do
Also, being woken up at 00:30 to move my car so that more spaces could be created shows the car park is too small
The route to the bar from restaurant/bar was to go back out the front door and walk round the building to the back - never seen such a thing

Also, the beer in the bar tasted like they hadn’t cleaned the pipes for a long time

The communal gents toilets were mouldy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a long time

As a women I had an accidental accident whilst on my menstrual period and was punished by being shamed and half my depos

I like the garden and bar area

Cons:

I didn’t like the rude staff and dated furniture, a lot of cobwebs and spiders around.
Stayed for 3 nights and never got any top ups on tea and coffee or towels and shower gel and also towels, when requested staff were rude and hesitant to top up.

It was okay for our short stay. A lovely hotel that with some modernising would be a beautiful hotel
Pros:

The grounds of the hotel are lovely. The hotel met our requirements for what we needed and we found it comfortable . Breakfast was nice. Staff were helpful and polite.

Cons:

The hotel would benefit from a really good update and some modernising. It is a beautiful old building in lovely grounds so there's a lot of potential.

Perfect for cricket fans
Pros:

I'm biased when it comes to the Westone as it offers free parking and is perfectly placed for the cricket ground. What more do you need?

Cons:

It is probably overdue a bit of an update...and a breakfast menu.

Cheap.

Cons:

No aircon, rooms on too floor are like saunas, needs updating, quite clean but as I said, needs updating. Food is overpriced for the 'microwave' meal I had. Friendly staff is about only plus. OK for contractors, which it was full of. Photos online are not realistic to what is on offer. If you're on a budget working away, then this is OK.
