this is an old hotel that needs a massive renovation. In my personal opinion after staying for 2 nights they should just close it and redo it end to end. The service guys are very friendly and try to help any way they can but they have limited inventory to work with. The elevator is fast and you can find a room that will be quiet. They gave us a space heater when we asked.
the bedding is very poor quality, nothing works really well from broken hooks to power outlets to the screen door on the balcony.
The location overlooking the marina, and the water was great. The walking trail close to the hotel is great with great views of the river. Walking distance to some dinning places is possible, but for most you will need to drive. The free breakfast was good, with nice staff making freash waffles, and good coffee to go for the next leg of you trip.
The indoor pool was closed (I had planned for a swim). The room (328) was of ample size for two people, but could be addressed. The bathroom door could not be closed (the door jam /door needed to be repaired, as did the sliding door to the balcony (very difficult to open/ close ). No fan working in the bathroom, therefore everything is misted up. The thermostat did not work when trying to adjust to room temperature.

Breakfast was interesting , we loved it , bu we missed the having cheese with our toasted breads
We stayed at connected room , the door in between rooms wasn’t enough for privacy
Any little noise you can hear from the other side , so wasn’t a good night’s sleep we had unfortunately

Das man die Balkontür öffnen konnte, wenn auch sehr mühsam und mit viel Kraftanstrengung, da sie sich in der unteren Schiene immer festkeilte.
Frische Luft ins Zimmer eindringen zu lassen ist in nur wenigen Hotels in Kanada möglich, leider.
Auf dem Balkon war es sehr schmutzig, der Putz war abgefallen an mehreren Ecken..Sehr schade da der Ausblick sehr schön war.
