Nice staff, disappointing accommodations. Not worth the price tag.
Pros:

The staff was wonderful.

Cons:

This older hotel is much in need of serious repairs. The room I was first given had mould issues that aggravated my asthma and affected my ability to breathe. And while I was kindly moved to another room it faired only slightly better in air quality and left me with a headache. From air quality to the loose toilet and dripping tub faucet the overall experience is not worth the price tag. The hotel as a whole has water infiltration issues, there was a bucket under a serious leak in the lobby the next morning.

Storm Stranded and turned out to be a spontaneous pleasant stay
Pros:

Due to deteriorating weather on route to Montreal we spent a night at Ramada Cornwall. With the hospitality, great service, nicr pool, decent fitness facility and comfortable room, it turned out to be pleasant detour that enhanced the overall vacation!

Far from what we expected!
Pros:

I genuinely don’t understand how this hotel has received so many positive reviews, as our experience was extremely disappointing. We checked in late on Wednesday evening, and when we arrived there was no one at the front desk. While there was a sign indicating someone would return in five minutes, the staff member who eventually appeared was not particularly warm or welcoming. Given the late hour, we didn’t dwell on it.

Our room was located a very long distance from reception, and we were surprised by how large and spread out the property is. Upon entering the room, it was uncomfortably cold, set to 66 degrees. The furnishings were very dated and showed significant wear—scratches, dents, and visible water damage. The crown moulding was poorly done, and throughout the hotel the stucco ceilings and walls felt outdated and unappealing. Air vents were visibly dirty, and the doors looked like they hadn’t been updated since the 1970s.

The mattress was worn and sagged noticeably in the middle, and the sheets were thin and low quality. The shower water pressure was extremely weak. While the room was reasonably clean overall, the condition and comfort were far below expectations.

Based on our stay, we truly don’t understand the volume of positive reviews and would not recommend this hotel.
