I paid to much for the property to be a mess and rooms falling apart. I couldn’t get a refund because I booked the room

People sitting on chairs in walkway with cooler and smoking.
Trash all over property
Security lock broken completely had to change rooms
Toilet spraying water on the back when you flush

Good Luck Plunger

Location was main reason for stay at this Quality Inn

Cons:

Upon arrival to room it seemed in decent state of cleanliness.
After use of toilet it flushed and drained slowly.
The next morning used toilet and it stopped up.
Went to the front desk to get help
The front desk clerk, said there is no maintenance onsite handed my husband a plunger and essentially said good luck.
We own a home maintenance business. When you visit a hotel the expectation is the facility is responsible for maintenance.
It would be nice to receive some consideration for this inconvenience.
My husband wanted to leave that morning but we had already checked in and it would have interrupted our short time off from work

Pros:

The hotel room and staff were great. The room was a good size and the TV and service were good. The room was very clean and my husband really enjoyed the "good!" hot water :)

Cons:

The very loud continuous beeping of the trash collector trucks as they backed up to each and every dumpster at 7am on a Sunday morning. I do not blame the hotel for this.
