Location is right in the middle of Ruidoso/Ruidoso downs.and you can walk to Walmart!

Pros:

I was lucky and didn't have to take smoking, but a guest may need to specify ahead. Room was ok. Lobby was leaking into a mop bucket--not sure where the leak was from as it wasn't raining. The clerk kept having to personally, physically go to check rooms to ensure they were clean---that seems weird. I was afraid my room would have been short term rented--but it seemed clean. Kind of iffy. Clerk was very friendly. Room was large, relatively comfy.

Cons:

Leaking ceiling in lobby, rooms unknown cleanliness. A different room called lobby and demanded a new room because their AC didn't work. It was March. Doesn't bode well for summer....

Happy with my stay overall. Will stay again but probably in the Summer.
Pros:

Location was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and professional, from front desk to dining area. Breakfast was good, nice variety. Premises were maintained and clean.

Cons:

Water was lukewarm in shower, it wasn’t nice and hot.

It was comfortable, with spacious, and clean rooms, and beautiful, peaceful grounds.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent. There was a couple who oversaw the breakfast and they did an excellent job. The place was clean, well stocked and the food was well prepared and fresh. They were both very caring and friendly.
The hotel grounds were well cared for and beautiful. The location felt secluded and secure, especially with the flooding that was going on. The room was spacious and had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. All the staff were polite, professional, and friendly.

Cons:

The air conditioner was noisy. The housekeeping didn't come until the 4th day. We could have used some clean towels before then.
