Mycket bristande information och dålig kommunikation

Boendet levde inte upp till den beskrivning som angavs vid bokningen. I informationen stod det tydligt att det skulle finnas spis och tekokare, men vid ankomst fanns varken spis eller tekokare tillgängligt. Detta kommunicerades inte i förväg och ingen alternativ lösning erbjöds.

Jag reste med tre små barn med särskilda kostbehov, vilket gjorde tillgång till köksutrustning nödvändig. Situationen blev därför mycket problematisk.
Avsaknaden av korrekt information och stöd på plats påverkade vår vistelse negativt.

Tyvärr kan jag inte rekommendera detta boende.

Failed guest experience-Will not come back

the location is good the money value is not. Should not be super sold as upgraded.

Moldy smelly room and elevator! Even with the ac being popped to the max!
I had to take an inhaler and I am not somone with allergy or asma to survive the night coz I didn’t have time to change the hotel.
This hotel pictures are not a good match of reality of the room. It has been updated in the cheapest way I have ever seen. I have been to many updates hotel, this is the worst I have ever seen the money value is not worth it.
- the pictures are rigged and made bright and beautiful- the reception furniture is so old and outdated! Felt like walking into a sleazy cheap 80’s motel. So no this was not an upgrade- by far a cheap remodel:
- bed roll on wheels?!! With no breaks to the wheels - with every move the bed moves and shakes
- the tables are cut and paste and they shake and wobbly if u eat or work on them.
- the bathrooms are still old style and the closet is in the bathroom?!! So my cloth will smell like S…?? At least put a door to it!
- the mattresses sinks in the middles like those old super used - nit comfy and u wake up with back pain! mattress that the company didn’t bother to change.
- Parking super small for trucks and squeezed it is only at the end that I discovered the additional space coz no one told us.
-this should be written and mentioned loudly and clearly - not hidden between the lines of a contact. No room service during Friday and Saturday the busiest days of the week- I should have booked an Airbnb why call it a hotel?

Personal experience:
I asked for a quiet room coz i had a sick companion I I had the pool party and their loud music for 2 nights in row and teenagers party in the room next door- and screaming in the open that can be heard all over the floors coz they r opened balconies- no manager to notice it! Even though ur hotel policies mention not parties are allowed then somone should be checking.
- Coffee Machine but no coffee- 2 $ cost!

Has potential
Pros:

Restaurant staff were great. Design and layout were cool. Pool looked perfect, karaoke was a hit and the food and atmosphere inside the Hideaway was very nice.

Cons:

Front desk was difficult to deal with. Communication in English made the guy seem like he was rude on purpose. Uncomfortable at check in. He gave out no information freely about the hotel, just hands over a room key and I had to ask walk back to ask him how to get to the room since the elevator was out.
Got to the room and it was too cold. 60 degrees. Tried to turn it off but it wouldn’t. Raised the temp, that didn’t work, then I put the heat on 90. Went to take a hot bath to warm up, ran out of hot water within 5 mins. Took about 2 hours of filling and draining until I had proper hit water for my bath. Found the tv remote with dead batteries and electrical tape sealing them inside. Needed to iron my shirt and jacket for the next morning. No iron board but there was an iron. Asked front desk for an iron board to be brought to my room, never happened. Ended up at the bar for a drink after that because the room was way too cold. After dinner I came back up to run the shower to steam my shirt and jacket. Kept the door open to try and warm up my room.
Couldn’t sleep through out the night. Had the ac finally turned off and it was coming in from unknown places. Used the extra blanket in the room and did the best I could to iron on the bed. Not happy travels for a $235 room

Disappointing
Cons:

Our two-night stay was disappointing. The elevator to the fourth floor was out of service, requiring us to use the employee elevator. While that wasn’t a major concern, the room itself had several issues: the shower doors would not close at all, there was hair left in the bathtub, and the toilet appeared to have a faulty fill valve that ran throughout the night. Overall, it was not a comfortable stay. Will not return.

Poor services- wouldn’t return.

Location worked for the reason behind my stay. Clean.

Cons:

No hot water. Poor room lighting. Staff didn’t speak English so couldn’t discuss water issues. Bug man woke me to spray the room- no issues with pests during my stay, but was awoken when needed rest due to illness. Elevated was not working- my room was on third floor. We did use the staff elevator. Name of the hotel that I booked under was “Boca Lodge” - the actual name of the hotel was “Boca Plaza” thus couldn’t even locate the actual place and once inside when I asked staff on duty if I was at the correct place they wouldn’t confirm without seeing my photo ID first!

I fell when rain water gathered at the door because the lining on the door was. Not attached…the room had no phone … I had to call reservation to get front desk number to get help…
