Pros:

Very clean, and very friendly

Cons:

My husband and I wanted to enjoy the pool but there was about 4-5 adolescent boys splashing, running, and screaming the whole time the pool was open..I think maybe they should have considered other guest that may have wanted to enjoy the pool as well and at least made them be respectful of others. No supervision. Maybe more about parenting but the pool supposedly had rules that jo one enforced.

Pros:

Clean room, great lounge, nice pool. Breakfast could be a little fresher, would be nice for fresh eggs and biscuits.

Cons:

Breakfast could have been better, and it was a little nosey out in the hall. But in all fairness the hotel was booked.

Needs better attention
Pros:

Best described as “the attempt was there, but not fully finished” Window was broken, the lock was broken, I could stick my fingers out the gaps. Edges of the rooms were dirty.

It was mediocre. Would recommend if looking for a budget friendly place to stay.
Pros:

Had a decent little place that was local to pretty much anything we wanted to do

Cons:

They had an indoor pool which was filthy, and cold.

Estancia cómoda , y excelente atención al público , son excelentes trabajadores.
Pros:

Me gustó mucho que tiene restaurantes justo al lado no tienes que usar el coche para desplazarte , y las instalaciones están muy bonitas y piscina y gym en el interior, es lo mejor para una estancia de más de un día .

Cons:

El laundry room las máquinas son antiguas y hay mucha humedad en el , la conexión de la salida de la secadora no está correctamente instalada y por ello todo ese vapor se condensa y genera muchísima humedad en ese cuarto , puede producir con el tiempo moho negro , siendo potencialmente peligroso para la salud .

2 star hotel. Pay attention to that when booking hotels
Pros:

It was away from a busy highway.

Cons:

I had to change rooms twice. The third one worked. The front desk lady was super understanding and did help. The first room had a hole in the wall where air condition was plugged in. The 2nd room had a dog barking and scratching the door and they tried to reach them but they all went out to dinner. The 3rd room on the 3rd floor was the best. I got some sleep but heard adults running down the hallway at 2:20 am. In the morning I saw someone had propped the door open with a bottle so they could get into the stairwell. Again I ended up getting decent sleep and since I had a 12 hour drive that was most important.

Comfortable Place!
Pros:

We have stayed here the last two times we have come to Carbondale. The hotel is clean, as was our room. Bed was comfortable and shower was great! The continental breakfast was plentiful with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and cereal. We will definitely book with them again on our next trip.

Acceptable, affordable, but I will try somewhere else next time
Pros:

The room was generally clean and my stay was quiet. The breakfast was available earlier than some hotels, which I appreciated because I had an early departure. I also appreciate the reasonable pet fee. The location was close to my destination and near lots of restaurants and retail.

Cons:

While the room was relatively clean, the cleaning products left an overpowering fragrance that never really left the room.
The outside area could use some attention. It was pretty dirty and the grass hadn’t been mowed. This area didn’t feel super safe for a female solo traveler. I parked my car in front of the lobby—rather than along the side of the hotel, which would’ve provided better access to the room, because those areas felt secluded. I rarely saw anyone at the front desk.

Pros:

The location was perfect! It was right in the center of a variety of restaurant and shopping. And close to SIU.

Cons:

The staff didn't seem to want to be there. We checked in late at night and although we were promptly serviced, no one was very friendly or seemed happy to be there. Also the available breakfast time is too short. I went to the lobby at 930am and the lights were turned off and no one was there.
