Pros:

Nice size clean room. All the extras microwave, coffeemaker, iron, hairdryer and fridge with freezer. Friendly informative staff. Excellent breakfast place.

Cons:

I didn't realize the train was so close, but the earplugs provided took care of noise.

Train went by several times during night. No whistle just rumbling sound. Hotel supplied ear plugs but noise didnt bother us too bad.

A Nice Place to Explore Spokane
Pros:

The Place looks really cool, you got parking right in the front.
The Room had a good size and was overall very comfortable. Also the Bathroom and the Shower was also very good.
Easy Access through the Elevator.
Nice Staff at the front desk. Had some issues with the Payment amount but the young woman immediately fixed it.
Overall a solid Place to spend the Night at Spokane and explore the City on foot

Cons:

Everyone mentions this, and naturally, I have to as well: it’s quite noisy in the room due to the railway tracks that run right next to the hotel. The trains pass by at intervals—you usually get about 20–30 minutes of quiet, followed by a brief period of noise. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to those who are sensitive to sound or are light sleepers. That said, earplugs are provided, which is a plus. I slept perfectly well, but others might find it bothersome.

Pros:

Excellent location downtown, easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Easy on site parking great breakfast nearby. Staff super friendly, check in very easy.

Great location in downtown Spokane
Pros:

When we arrived at the hotel, both the upper and lower parking lots were full, but the receptionist said we could park across the street after registering our vehicle. We appreciated being given a room on the ground floor so that we could easily take our dog outside. On check out day, we found a parking ticket, but the same receptionist voided it for us.

Cons:

When we stayed at the Steam Plant in May 2025, we were given only 1 voucher for a free breakfast; the other person had to pay full price. This time, however, we were told both of us could have breakfast, but we chose not to go to Rosie's because the "free" menu was limited.

Cons:

Dog walk area was almost nonexistent. We also had to walk past several drug addicts to get to it. I didn't feel 100% safe.
Walls were paper thin. Coukd hear neighbors very clearly.
