We stayed at the Residence Inn Downtown Vancouver for 1 night pre cruise in July 2026. If you are driving a car, there is a small covered alleyway on the side of the hotel where you can temporarily park, run in to drop things off and check in. Our room was right off the elevator and we thought that might be an issue, but it really wasn't too noisy. Our room was great. This Residence Inn did a great job with the room arrangement to fit everything and still feel large. It was a great room layout even with the kitchen. The free breakfast was typical with a few hot choices, breads, cereals, etc., but what stood out to us was that there was a lot of seating available. It took us 15-20 minutes to walk to the cruise terminal from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. There are also lots of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk from this hotel too.
Friendly check in. Room size was good - especially as we were travelling with suitcases and there were 4 of us.
Towels were in need of replacement, very threadbare.
The people that works here! They are wonderful and helpful! In particular Anna and Rosalía! Thank you Anna for the Anniversary card and the wine! The hotel is very nice and very well located.
We love the area and got to walk around so easily. We requested a microwave because the room didn't have one and it was send to our room immediately! Thank you!
We appreciate the extra coffee in our room and the bottles of water.
Other hotels have a "coffee station" in the lobby and you can help yourself with that, but we didn't find it here. There was a "water station" in the lobby too! We loved the pool and the pool area. The parking lot is great and very well illuminated (we didn't like the charges for parking)
We definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back next year again.
Our first request was to have a room with a nice view of the harbor and at a high level of the hotel; we got the high level, but we were given a room looking to the parking not to the bay area :( and then, we were told that we needed to pay more in order to stay next door with a view of the bay. That didn't felt good. Many hotels do this to us. It has become way too common :( We already know this trick. :(
We didn't like that this hotel supports Starbucks as we are boycotting them for their connections with the war in Gaza :(
We didn't like that there was not breakfast included and the restaurant is so expensive.
We didn't like the fact that we didn't find any items depicting or honoring the Native peoples of this area.
Parking is very expensive :(
This hotel is perfectly located if you like to explore downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park and Granville Island. We booked a family room with two comfy double beds, and a spacious room. The staff were very friendly!
The breakfast buffet is mediocre, long queues for the bread (all of needs toasting), and overall my breakfast experience was rather poor. The gym and pool area is also average, and looks bit dated. I hope the hotel can improve these two elements and then the expensive room rate (over 400 Euro per night!) is justified.
Clean room with enough space. Our room has a small kitchen, nice sized refrigerator, lots of amenities, highly recommended this one
Cynthia on reception was excellent. She was very friendly and helped us to book a couple of tours, as well as providing very good recommendations on places to eat. She is a real credit to the organisation.
The breakfast was adequate but not particularly good, especially if you wanted a cooked breakfast. The only options were scrambled eggs and sausages.

Breakfast is a bit boring after two days. For shorter stays it is fine.
Also we needed to check out early and they could not pack any breakfast despite it was included in our stay (we have asked about it the evening before).
Tiene una ubicación increíble. Muy cerca de todos los lugares turísticos. Es un hotel que cumple con lo esencial para un buen descanso.
No me gustó que no hicieran aseo todo los días en la habitación. Lo otro es que el desayuno es bastante básico, cumple pero no es para nada excepcional.

ארוחת הבוקר היתה על הפנים עם מבחר דל ביותר. שהינו 2 לילות ואת החדר לא סידרו כי לטענתם הם מסדרים רק פעם ביומיים. שילמנו מחיר יפה של 740דולר קנדי ללילה - סכום בהחלט לא מבוטל והתמורה שקיבלנו היתה מתחת לכל ביקורת!!! אמליץ לא ללכת למלון הזה. היתרון היחידי שהיה לו היה מיקומו - חוץ מזה ממש כלום!!! אכזבה נוראית וחוסר פרופורציה טוטלי בין מה ששילמנו למה שקיבלנו!!!

予約した部屋と違う部屋にチェックイン時案内され、対応をその日のスタッフに頼んだのですが、満室で何もできないと。
一晩我慢して翌朝勤務のマイクさんに相談したところ、真摯に謝罪いただき、元の予約通りの部屋を案内いただきました。
観光の案内も的確で素晴らしかった。
マイクさんのおかげで快適なステイでした。
