Room was big and clean
The bathrooms above you are very loud so you can hear everything unless you're a heavy sleeper. I wouldn't stay here again because of that.
Clean. The best mid class property breakfast, including crispy (!) bacon and great staff. The property is a bit dated but in good working order. Could use more than one electric outlet on each side of the bed.
House keeping never came. Staff was friendly.
Really excellent check-in from Felix, who was fast, efficient and personable. We had a very large (900’) 2-Bedroom(King, Queen)/2-Bath Suite (tub with the Q, shower with the K) with screened windows that open for a breeze. Nice view from the top/4th floor. Laundry on the 3rd floor with credit card access only ($2.55-2.75), clean and tidy. Ice machine and fitness room (free weights, doctor’s scale) off the lobby. Breakfast was plentiful: egg/cheese sandwiches, sausage, Chobani fat-free yogurt, individual milk cartons (2%), bananas/apples, breads/bagels. Housekeepers are visible throughout the hallways. Special thanks to GM Chris, who thankfully got us in with a last-minute reservation and it was most appreciated.
Very nice room and a super good breakfast.
Carpets and rooms dated. Exhaust fan needed to be replaced. Great location but facility needs a complete refresh.
The property lights on the building and the parking lot were not on when I arrived @ 8:30pm,it was extremely dark. They actually weren’t on until well after it was dark, 9pmish! All 2 nights we were there this happened. Was told by the front desk that manager of the property had been notified and did nothing about it.
The staff on the other hand were awesome, especially Holly!! She was very helpful/nice! The pool has great hours as well.
The staff was friendly.
Location was convenient, our 2-BR suit perfect for a family of 5, breakfast offered a good selection for everyone’s preferences. Definitely comfortable and spacious.
The AC fan was very strong and therefore loud. To avoid having the fan kick on and off all night, I decided to just keep it on, but it would have been better to have the ability to adjust the fan speed. The road traffic noise was sometimes very loud.
First of all Felix at the front desk was absolutely the best. He was very helpful, very attentive, and made sure every time he saw me that everything was great. I was here on business and stayed for two weeks. Room was very roomy, comfortable and clean. AC was loud but the room was cool. Breakfast wasn't the normal hotel breakfast like most hotels. Plenty of selection for any type of breakfast you could want. My only suggestion is add scrambled eggs every morning. Not everyone wants quiche or souffle for breakfast or just a breakfast biscuit. The option of scrambled eggs would have been nice. The staff was very nice, always smiling and greeting everyone. The lemon, cucumber water was absolutely tasty. My other suggestion is when you get your room cleaned in between stays, sweep and mop the bathroom and kitchen. Dirt is on our shoes so my floor was dirty even after housekeeping came in. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in town for business again.
Breakfast
This hotel needs a serious renovation, we had to change rooms after checking in due to stuff not working. The second room they put us in was even worse. The door handle/lock to enter the room kept jamming making it very hard to open. On one occasion the front desk person had to come and help open it. The room phone didn't work, the toilet seat wouldn't stay up, refrigerator looked like it was physically abused and the beds; especially the sofa bed, were very uncomfortable. The thermostat for the hvac didn't work properly and the room would be at an uncomfortable temperature. There is no maintenance on weekends and when they finally came to fix the issues I complained about, they still weren't able to fix the door (room 319). These rooms should be inspected periodically by maintenance staff to make sure everything works properly, since a renovation probably won't happen. On the bright side the room was clean and the front desk staff were nice. Breakfast was good but there was inadequate seating for the amount of people eating breakfast. We had to take our food back to the room and eat. All in all, not impressed and really surprised that this hotel carries the Marriott Hotels brand name. We should have stayed at the Hampton Inn next door.
I thought the breakfast was very good. We were there for two mornings and I appreciated that there was some variation in the menu.
My wife didn't care for the fact that you had to walk through the lobby to get to the pool, so we didn't swim.
