Pros:

Location is good. Close to shopping, dining and freeway. The staff were very professional and friendly. Nice and quiet community. Nice size spaces. We had a two bedroom, 2 bath apartment with a full kitchen. We enjoyed our balcony which was overlooking the pool. The gym was nice, only encountered one broken treadmill. Needed cups, hand sanitizer and solution to clean the equipment before and after use.

Cons:

Needs new carpets, chairs and couches. All were very stained tattered and worn out. I didn’t want to sit, had to place a towel over the chairs in my room and in dinning area. Most of the time I stood or sat on the edge of my bed, which I don’t like to do in my street clothes. The couch in our room was worn out and dirty. None of us used it. Also there was no hot tub. I would expect more from the brand.

If it weren’t toward the end of the season in Palm Desert, they would have to significantly reduce their rates in order

Broken gym equipment and pool water quality do not match the price tag they ask for
Pros:

We were looking for a nice place to stay one night in the area and choose that hotel for its pool area and the big gym that it apparently offers when we looked at the photos. So we were willing to spend more money for those features. Well, the pool area is bigger than what you find in cheaper hotels, the rooms were very big with kitchen, dining table and so on. Also the gym is big. We like that. But still, as you will find in the "what we did not like" section the price tag was just too high for what they offer in the end.

But the staff was nice and the rooms comfortable and clean enough so that it would also be suitable for a longer stay if you can accept the shortcomings of the gym and pool.

Cons:

The water in the pool was not really clean. It was okay to swim in but lots of insects and some dirt floating around. So the pool area itself is nice but, again, for that price tag I ask for more.

Same applies for the gym. Really lots of equipment there and the main reason I was willing to pay the money. But at least half of the equipment was out of order. Displays not working, the machines itself sometimes not operation at all, "out of order" stickes on every other machine ... well, then be fair and strike it from your list of hotel features so that people know what to expect.

The location of my room was great. Cleanliness of the pool and area was horrifically unkept.
Pros:

The location of the room was good.
Also the size of the room was good

Cons:

The check in process was awful. Was not offered access to the poo while waiting 4 hours to check in.
The pool was not cleaned the 3 days of my stay.
The pool are was dirty with wet towels and dirty diapers. Area not cleaned the entire time of my stay.

Convenient Place to Stay
Pros:

Location was great, walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Room size and full equipped kitchen was good, met all our needs. We would recommend this place and will be our go to place when visiting Palm Desert.

Cons:

Some areas were not as well maintained, such as lights along the walk way were out and BBQ grilled not properly closing. We had to call a staff member to light up the propane grill since the self starter feature was not working. We noticed other guest were bringing their own lighters. Our patio light was out and not repaired in spite of bringing attention to have it fixed. Common area trash not emptied in a timely manner.
