Residence Inn by Marriott New Orleans Metairie

Hotel is under renovation but they didn’t begin too early, noise wasn’t bad. Great little hotel in a nice neighborhood. Clean pool and outdoor amenities to enjoy. All areas maintained well, maintenance guys always around keeping grounds spotless. Front desk was welcoming and available to answer questions. Rooms are very clean with nice towels and toiletries, clean sheets on comfortable beds. Great stay

Clean suite, family friendly and pet friendly also. Near many gas stations, shopping centers and eating places. Very safe part of town. Hotel is also being renovated in some parts which will make future stays more enjoyable. Would highly recommend for the rate and quality.

The outdoor pool was dirty. It seems like the hotel was being renovated, and the staff wasn’t very friendly. And the breakfast choices were terrible.

The staff was very friendly, the room was nice and clean. The only issue was the sofa bed was broken!

My stay was good. The staff was very cordial and helpful. The property is old, but reasonably well kept.

Check-in was easy, the staff were friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean. Perfect location. Near restaurants, entertainment, mall, and a quick drive to Bourbon St.

Great stay

My family and I stayed here for spring break in the two bedroom suite. It was comfortable and clean but the smell in the room was something we couldn’t get used to so we purchased a plug in. The breakfast was good they changed the protein every morning which was nice but everything else pretty much remain the same. The grounds were well kept pool was nice although the water at the time was cold, basketball court and the little area where you could grill was comfortable to just sit outside and enjoy the breeze. The drive to everywhere we wanted to go except the swap tour was less than 15-20 mins away which was great. It’s only 15 mins away from the French quarter, 5 mins from Mr Ed’s, 10 mins to the mall. Just all and all great place to stay with the family especially small children.

Front desk lady was polite enough !
No washing soap in kitchen . Only dishwasher soap so if u drink a cup pf coffee or use a plate your only option is to run the dishwasher to wash it .
Also at 9.15 a lady loudly bangs on our door like theres a fire .
We were jolted out of our beds as we arrived super late the night before .
Kindly train your staff to not enter or knock like there's a fire prior to check out at 11 AM .
Was a rude awakening.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and well appointed. We thought the breakfast was good. It is located behind a surgery center and we had very little traffic. The outside pool area is nice, they supplied the towels and the grandkids liked it. My only complaint was that the bed in room 106 is on the same wall as the exit and it is a very heavy door. Luckily, there was not much late/early traffic, we we endured.

Very soothing had brought the wife there for her bday dinner. Everything was smooth even had a musician come play for her. Surprised there was no complaints

Overall, my experience was pleasant. However, we had to keep putting water in the back of the toilet to flush. We did not inform the front desk because we did not want to pack our things and move to a different room once we got settled and noticed the issue. We only stayed in the room to sleep so we just dealt with it. Everything else was great, including breakfast which was the best part.
