Residence Inn Tampa Sabal Park/Brandon

This is the worst Residence Inn we have stayed at. It is the dirtiest, the breakfast (what little there was of it) was a joke, cold scrambled eggs, a few choices of cereal, package of hard boiled eggs…. It was terrible and even the coffee was bad. At check in, the desk clerk barely looked at us, did not return my husband’s greeting and was pretty much the same the following morning. It was a bleak comparison to the Residence Inn we were most recently at in Sebring, FL.

The thinnest walls I have ever experienced so sleep was something I couldn’t get and sorely needed.

Unfortunately for this hotel, the last Residence Inn (Sebring) was once of the cleanest hotels across all manner of cost, we have ever stayed in. There were hairs on the bathroom floor, and it was just dusty and dirty as if those responsible, runs through in a very very short amount of time. Oh and the carpet in the whole place is begging to be replaced. It was so old, worn and dirty.

I have nothing positive to say about this place and would never recommend it.

Great property, clean and the lobby coffee was great.

Everyone who works there was so friendly. Rooms are clean. The only thing I would say is to check on the shower curtain in room 112. Not a big deal at all.
The late night clerk who checked us in was fantastic. I didn’t get his name. It was on October 2.

From the front desk to Mr.
Chris, they made our stay awesome. Mr. Chris made sure my husband who needed a comfortable room was taken care of. Mr. Chris even helped me with our luggage. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with many options.
One night, I wanted coffee, and the night lady offered to make fresh coffee for me. This is a hotel that really cares for their customers. Thank you so much!

The staff were friendly.

The overall stay was okay. I experienced an issue when my air conditioning unit quit working overnight. I was awaken due to the warmth and sweat pouring off me. I called the front desk and was told that maintenance should be in around 9am. No other solution was offer, so I asked if I could get a fan. The attendant said that I could get a fan, if I wanted to come get it. Your A/C unit has stopped working in the middle of the night, and I have to get dressed, put on shoes, and come down to the front desk to pick up a fan…then carry it back to the room? I thought that was inconvenient and highly inconsiderate. Later that morning, I had to call back to the front desk (around 10 am) to ask if someone was coming to service the A/C.

No hot water and very low pressure in our bathroom sink. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Our stay was exactly what we expected from a Marriott property, clean, quiet, and good coffee! I didn’t necessarily love the hallway, carpet or wallpaper, ibut the lighting was nice.

The only complaints would be water pressure the tv. The rest, everything was hreat.

Everything was good with the stay and breakfast was great and front desk was also great hospitality but Monday there was a power shortage and I didn’t have electricity in my room for a day and I wasn’t able to study for my class and the ac was out as well so my room was hot for a night but overall clean and great service but wish they could reimbursed me for a day.
