Work trip
Pros:

I like that the place was pretty close to where I was working and that Uber fare really didn’t cost much for everywhere I went. I like the little exercise room.

Cons:

I was there for about 2 weeks for work and I didn’t like the rooms didn’t have microwaves in them instead I had to walk down hall to ice machine to warm up my food at that microwave there. Also the first week I was there the pool and hot tub were closed and when I finally was able to enjoy the hot tub I got paint or something all over my swimsuit that didn’t come out even now that I’m home and have washed it. I tried to wash out at hotel as well to no avail. If I stay at this hotel again I won’t wear a new swimsuit again.

Will not return. Expect booking.com to refer better hotels but need reasonable price.
Pros:

Comfortable beds, clean linen and towels.

Cons:

Pool was closed; air conditioner loud with no one available to service it. First room was very dusty (dog dander) no one to clean and no cleaning supplies. Changed rooms.

Truthful info about the room and restaurants online, no microwave in room as advertised and restaurants were almost non existent. Curtains in rooms as seen from parking lot were hanging off rods.Did not check in, left property.

Pros:

The front desk staff have great personalities and treat you like a familiar face every time they see you. The rooms are quiet and feel private enough, even though I was near the elevator.

Cons:

This property is extremely rundown. It clearly has not been updated in several years. The pillows were these tiny lumpy things, not at all what I would expect to see on a king size bed. The heater was so loud that it drove me insane during my entire stay. The breakfast food was awful, especially for the price of $12. All other foods in the shop were way overpriced as well.

Pros:

Location was great because it was very close to Duke Medical Center

Cons:

We had to leave at 4:45 AM to get to Duke at 5 AM for surgery. I took a load of bags down to the car while my wife waited in the room. After putting my bags in the car, the front hotel door was locked and I could NOT get back in the hotel. I tried putting the room keys on the electronic thing but it would NOT unlock the door. I knocked and knocked but there was no desk clerk. If he was in the back, he didn’t hear me knocking. I really started panicking because I was worried about missing the surgery time. I had my phone so I called my wife to come down and let me in. She did. We went back up to the room to get the rest of our bags. However, we NEVER saw a desk clerk even after talking loudly to see if he was in the back.
