It was okey, but could use the above mentioned improvements.

Comfortable beds and cleanliness.

Cons:

provide continental breakfast. Refrigerator had no small freezer and dial to make refrigerator cooler could not be turned. Our freezer packs weretherefore useless

Great location but highly inconvenient for anyone staying on the first floor.
Pros:

The hotel location was great, staff was nice, and overall clean.

Cons:

My husband and I hardly slept with the sounds coming from our balcony that was open to the parking area. It's absolutely ridiculous to allow trucks making noises to be working early in the morning too. I will never stay on the first floor again if I come back to this hotel. The curtains also are not blackout curtains so light easily came through them.

Pros:

It was near grand haven so that was the nice part

Cons:

I thought this was a very overrated hotel. There’s balcony is a joke . It’s so small you can barely see the water and any view at all. The room is just meh

Pros:

Room was clean and nice but the chair was old and uncomfortable. The balcony was very small and not much of a river view like we were expecting. The refrigerator had no freezer and was very small. Bed was very comfortable and nice big screen tv.

Pros:

Never, ever again will I stay when there is a kids tourney. Kids running up and down the halls and yelling. Parents standing in the hallways trying to talk over the kids with their Bush light in their hand. Tried to call the front desk. The room phone did not work. Tried calling the physical address, just when to some reservations place. Oh, did I tell you it was still going on at 10 PM. It was Aweful!!!! Never staying at a Holiday Inn ever again.
