Expensive and disgusting.
Pros:

Location is decent. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Hotel is wildly overpriced for what you get.
The hotel is pretty mismanaged. It’s dirty, it’s stinky.
Hallways are dirty and seems like kitchen fan goes out straight to the hallways.
Room AC smells musty, fridge is barely cold even on max.
Upon checking in room floor looked like it was not vacuumed.
Indoor pool had broken doors, floor paint is pealing in multiple spots. And all off this you get for $400 per night

We ended up leaving after 1 night.
Pros:

Young blonde male at desk- very professional.

Cons:

We were assured that we would have a king room with a river view. Instead we were on the first floor with a view of cars parking right by us and the dumpsters. Very disappointing.

I believe it is a safe place. Staff is helpful. Not too far from home.

Cons:

i wanted a balcony facing the water/pool. I was told all the rooms were booked for that night.

Nice, clean, peaceful location to explore the area
Pros:

The staff was super friendly....location was perfect to explore Grand Haven while having a peaceful setting to enjoy river views. Room was clean and the onsite dining option was really helpful.

Cons:

The left turn out of the parking lot was sometimes difficult....the thermostat did not communicate well at all with the hvac unit.

Nice views of marina not far from Downtown Grand Haven and Lake Michigan. Good food at the restaurant on site MudPenny
Pros:

Like the marina and views from our room. Nice tiki bar too!

Cons:

Most Holiday inn’s have free coffee in the lobby for guests. Not this one! It was almost $5 for a regular coffee in their restaurant MudPenny. Also no continental breakfast offered. Hallways need to vacuumed more!

Location was nice

Cons:

Found multiple hair’s in my clean towels in the room. Also the bugs at night walking into the facility are a bit rough but understandable with it being by the water.

Great location and could be awesome with some work
Pros:

Location excellent on the marina.

Cons:

Restaurant not great. 9:00 and seemed to be shutting down. Could be great. Maybe just a bad night. Weren’t making the advertised oven-fired pizza because it was too hot out. It was hot out. No coffee in the lobby in the morning, just tea.

Cons:

Beds are very high, which made it very difficult for elderly person to get in. Toilets are very low, again difficult

Great overall stay!
Pros:

The location is great. Close to downtown Grand Haven. The outdoor pool area and Tikki bar have a nice set up.

Cons:

The view from my room balcony was looking over a roof top. I felt like it was slightly overpriced.
