Herdade dos Delgados

Je trouve le Spa et trop petit pour un hotel de cette taille. Et pas de Salle de Fitness (Description de l‘hotel ?)
Sinon l‘entroit et superbe et on a tres bien mange au Restaurant.

Our second visit to the hotel, after a short stay in a duplex apartment with friends in September. This time with family in two rooms, but it was still such a great weekend.
Unbeatable views across the Alqueva lake, really friendly and accommodating staff throughout the hotel, great food and drinks. We'll be back (again)

What an amazing place, and a really fantastic team, too. From the welcome at reception to everyone we interacted with in the bar and restaurant, the people running the place were the stars of the show, even with such a stunning location, great pool and wonderful rooms.

The restaurant menu is terrific - heavy because it really represents the Alentejo and that rich, country cuisine, but beautifully presented and delicious in every example we tried.
There were a good range of snacks from the bar for lunch, too.
Views from the pool area to the Alqueva lake were fantastic, as were the stars from the terrace of our duplex apartment, even with the full moon. Great to be in range of sharish gin, various wineries in Vidigueira and other tourist places in the region. I'd definitely go back!

An excellent stay in a beautiful part of Portugal. It was very quiet when we visited and was a great base for a restful time and some stargazing.

The hotel was on a beautiful place close to a lake and a castle. It was decorated with good taste, quiet and pleasant.

Definitely a place to come back

Excellent view, comfy bed and ammenities, mostly great staff, would have been perfect except felt like staff breakfast staff didn't want to be there and breakfast suffered as a result. Everyone else was lovely, everything else was equally good.

Foi uma boa surpresa da qualidade do Hotel um bom quarto muito agradável boa cama e espaço da casa de banho com um muito bom chuveiro um pequeno almoço muito bom e tudo de muita qualidade a simpatia de todos gostei muito.
Uma vista encantadora e uma piscina muito boa e bem localizada

Excelente atendimento.. Quartos muito elegantes e confortáveis com visita que transmite paz e tranquilidade.

O hotel é extremamente bem localizado, a vista é linda.
Os quartos são espaçosos.
A limpeza deixa um pouco a desejar, principalmente a zona da varanda exterior, que estava tão suja que nem utilizamos.
Foi nos informado assim que chegamos que tínhamos de pagar mais 30€ por noite pelo nosso filho de 3 anos e não colocavam uma cama para ele no quarto! perguntei porquê este custo acrescido uma vez que aquando à reserva dizia que podemos levar uma criança até 3 anos. Não foi explicado apenas indicado que era uma custo adicional.
Tambem à chegada foi nos avisado que o spa e piscina era por marcação, tendo quase todos os horarios reservados :(
O elevador estava avariado.
O jacuzi tinha imenso cloro que até ardia nos olhos.

Overall a great stay, largely due to location which is magnificent. Summary below:

Positives

+ Location / sights: As good as it gets, I think the photos speak for themselves

+ Food/breakfast: Not a massive buffet but had all the right things and very tasty and local

+ Staff friendliness

+ Swimming pool and sports center: if you need to entertain children, very helpful

Not so positives:

- Building / construction: rooms, restaurant and entrance were nice but the corridors felt like a Soviet hotel; tons of humidity in the walls; one of the showers did not have hot water, the other shower took 5 minutes to set the right temperature;

- Temperature: we stayed next door to the indoor pool - our rooms were extremely hot all the time due to heat irradiating from swimming pool

- Mattress: this was probably the worst mattress I have ever slept on, way too soft, had to change position during sleep every 15minutes, better off sleeping on the floor

Lugar excepcional! Una puntuación de 10 a todo! Volveremos y es muy muy recomendable.

A estadia nesta Herdade foi divinal, com a paz e calma que o lugar merece para aproveitar tudo. Apenas não conseguimos usufruir das bicicletas por serem demasiado grandes para duas pessoas com 1,60/1,65m.
A piscina interior era muito agradável mas com um cheiro muito forte a desinfetante, o que passado pouco tempo fazia arder muito os olhos (não sei se por causa das regras “covid”! Tirando estas duas questões, a estadia foi excelente. O apartamento duplex era fantástico é muito confortável!

Muito bem. Local calmo e com muitos monumentos históricos (castelos) nas imediações
