Super 8 by Wyndham El Dorado

The price was way too much for the room. The front desk person was rude both on checking in and out. The room smelled horrible. The door to our room had looked like it had been kicked in before and was so hard to open that if my boyfriend had not been staying with me I would have gotten stuck in the room. The bathroom door didn't close all the way. The bathroom was dirty the room was dirty. The mattress was terrible. And the AC didn't work right so it was hot and humid in the room. The breakfast the next morning was terrible and the milk was warm.

Loud patrons freezer was frozen over

Nothing it was nice

The breakfast was the worst. No food but waffles and you had to use butter out of a tub that everyone had used. No juice. No coffee maker in room. No coffee in the lobby in the evening. A dirty towel wad hanging on the hook behind the door. Bath towel was about the size of a hand towel! Ridiculously small.

Shower didn't have hot water

Very dirty room, towels were not clean, main area of check-in was sketchy and food crumbs all over on the floor. Breakfast was nothing but a bit of dry cereal and no coffee. Didn’t want to get sick by trying to make a waffle. Our first room had the shower handle sitting on the floor and no phone cord to call the front desk.

Cold water, rude staff, unsafe conditions, burned out lightbulbs, exterior doors to the hotel did not lock

could not adjust the air conditioner, had trouble with the tv, the shower did not have non-slip on the floor.

I received a text message from Super 8 earlier in the day wanting me to pre-register. I have never gotten a request like that before. I thought it was odd because I already had a confirmation number. I thought OK, this is how business is done now, so I proceeded to pre-register. They needed a photo of my driver's license and my debit card number. I was not comfortable giving this information over my phone, but proceeded any way. When we got to the motel, they could not find my reservation. I gave them my confirmation number and they still couldn't find it. I thought "What? All this pre-check business and they still can't find my reservation?" They finally got me checked in. Then our room had a broken window. Our room had hot water, but the guests in two other rooms did not have hot water. There was very seldom anyone at the front desk, We had to call to speak with someone. Clearly, this Super 8 has much room for improvement.
