Overall a good experience thanks to the staff. We will definitely choose Hampton first,
Pros:

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was well appointed.
Breakfast was very good as usual at Hampton Inns.
Shuttle service to Metro and Union Station was very helpful since we didn't have a car.

Cons:

Small things : No ice bucket even after request, shower temperature was difficult to adjust, light bulb in bedside lamp burnt out.

Excelente hotel, mas a localização não é tão boa, mesmo considerando o shuttle do hotel até a estação de trem e metrô.
Pros:

O quarto, a cama firme, a limpeza, café-da-manhã e os restaurantes muito charmosos e gostosos na rua em frente ao hotel.

Cons:

Chuveiro, barulho do trem na estação e a localização, longe dos atrativos mais importantes.

It was close to the areas we wanted to visit.
The breakfast was descent and the sitting area.
Staff was helpful and friendly

Cons:

It was located right close to the busy street.
They charged $45 a night for parking separate from hotel cost.
The space getting in and out of the property is a close space.
The bed was not comfortable.

Pros:

The location was good and the reception was really nice. Breakfast was good enough for starting the day.

Cons:

The housekeeping was really poor. We got housekeeping just once during our stay. The didn’t fill the shower gel which it was empty. They didn’t replace soap and we had just one tiny soap for 5 days. The duvet had some stains and it didn’t have cover which it should have to change for different guests.

Would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Hotel was great, comfortable, easy to find, close by to everything we wanted to do during our stay. Also, in the middle of union market district so plenty of diversity for dining options, just walking distance.

Cons:

Didn’t know we would have to pay for parking in the parking garage during our stay. Would have been good to know beforehand.

Overall, great stay at a reliable hotel with comfort and cleanliness.
Pros:

Location is ideal - close to Union Market. Free shuttle is amazing. Breakfast selection is good.

Cons:

Noise level outside of the hotel - cars and trucks on New York Avenue all night, as well as train horns.
