Super 8 Springfield North I-44

The staff was nice and helpful, the hotel room was clean and in good shape, the bed was very comfortable, I would stay here again if I come back to Springfield,

Check in went well, the bed did not seem to be a Queen Size as advertised. The television was damaged in the lower left hand portion of the screen prior to my checking in. I did not notify the front desk.
Check out was not as well as check in as no one came to the desk...

The hotel was clean and mostly everything was new. The staff is friendly and the room was clean and great bed! Thanks

Not a bad option

Don't stay here! Advertised breakfast, but no breakfast. Had to go ask for soap for bathroom, none in bathroom, no shampoo either. Felt like we were an inconvenience rather than a guest.

There’s nothing quite like waiting until you’re checking in to be told there’s NO breakfast - it’s just not ok. There’s no mention of this on any of their websites - I’ve checked, and my booking definitely states that a breakfast item is included. All they need to do is supply some granola bars, a prepackaged muffin or a piece of fruit for goodness sake - no preparation required. And the only coffee is that sachet in your room. They are just lying to their guests on arrival and stating that they’re doing renovations. Looking back at other reviews they’ve been getting away with this excuse for more than a year.
Secondly - they have a combination bath/shower tub in the bathroom. It has a shower head. It has a bath faucet. But it doesn’t have any plug, and when I went to reception to ask about a plug I was again lied to and told it was just a shower. If it looks like a bath, has a bath faucet, then it’s a bath imho. I was so angry by this stage that I looked at cancelling my 15 future bookings at other Wyndham properties.
I’ve given this property 3 stars as it’s actually was a decent room to stay in - it was both clean and comfortable, and I would say recently remodelled. It’s such a shame that the managers are lying and not supplying what you’ve paid for. I know these are just little things in the big scheme of life, but at the end of a long day when you’re tired it’s nice to have things run smoothly at check in. And they didn’t in this instance. A couple of small changes would make a big difference. Just come prepared and bring everything yourself.
Postnote: I’ve now reduced this to a one star review as it appears he has somehow cancelled my booking a day after we actually stayed there, meaning 0 points yet still charged my c/c

No breakfast said on line it had one, wifi was weak, hair dryer didn't work

they tried charging me more money when i checked in and i went somewhere else. very rude

My favorite place to stay! Management is awesome! Rooms are clean and affordable. I’ve stayed 3 times and it’s very quiet and I’ve always slept well. The mattresses are amazing. It’s a hidden gem💞

On arrival, no one at desk, no response to service bell on desk, housekeeper said she'd call someone. Check in, got to the room, and it had one queen bed. Reservation was for a deluxe room with two queen beds. The desk refused to make any adjustments since I had booked through Priceline and it was a non-refundable booking.. They told me to call Priceline. The only way to contact Priceline was through Penny, the ChatBot. We stayed. The bathroom sink faucet dripped all night. The ventilation unit had a high-pitched whine all night long. If you sat in the only chair in the room, the wifi didn't work. You had to go sit on the edge of the bed. In the morning I looked for the free breakfast that was advertised and was told there was none.

It was okay until check-out. No one was at the desk at 0900. I rang the bell several times and called out 'hello' but no one answered. I finally just left the room keys on the computer keyboard with a note asking them to email my receipt.

The room was quiet, as requested; but it was beaten up, carpet old and worn, holes in both bathroom and outside door, plaster coming off ceiling, sheets old and worn with multiple holes. Bed and all furniture worn out and old. To be fair, have stayed in some very nice, clean Super 8's. This IS NOT one of them. No one at the desk when I
came in and had to ring multiple times. When I checked out, greeted by an unkempt woman who appeared to have just crawled out of bed. No coffee no beverages no breakfast at all NOTHING. Excuse was 'remodeling' but there was NO TRACE of any remodeling happening anywhere on premises. Never stay here again.

Yes, customer service was good. No elevator. Elderly couple. Had to carry our own bags up to flights of stairs. No breakfast. Not even coffee in the lobby. But room was clean and quiet.

Ok, but ran out of the basics...toilet paper, kleenex, soaps, never returned my deposit

The quality of the room was better than what I expected for the affordability of the room. The room had a fridge and microwave and other basic amenities.

Wrong description making people fool . On website it says price include breakfast but when I arrive there they mention no breakfast and at that moment I can’t cancel also because it was already checkin time if I cancel $0 will be refundable . Sorry to say but it so terrible experience.

Coffee maker: Dirty
Door locks : Doesn’t work
Toilet door : no lock
Microwave : it’s from 70’s it doesn’t heat look like somebody give it for free
Bed: no comfort at all also it’s too danger because head board design its craze it can hurt someone’s head . It happen with my kid.

Overall: will never stay here again
