Worst stay at a hotel!

This was one of the nastiest hotel I ever been to! So nasty that I didn't even stay for 10 minutes! The showers were dirty, sheets funky with cigarette holes in them, pillows were dirty, floor was not clean, and on top of all this filth the heat was not working! I had my kids as well and could not bare the filth and coldness so we left! There's alot of other activities going on around if you know what I mean! Alot of in and outs! Its cheap for a reason! I asked for a refund and they denied me! I reached out to the property manager and she has yet to respond!! Its been over a week. This is not a place of comfort nor for family stays!! Everything smells like smoke and dirt everywhere.

It was okay
Pros:

I love the area; it's very lively and it's safe!!!!

I read the reviews and it's ridiculous because folks are expecting Marriot Quality from the very inexpensive hotel..
For $86- 100, this hotel is really a good - it's clean and everything works ..Trust, that is good as it going to get for that price in the DMV area!!!!
It's very convenient to lots of shops, restaurants, stores!!!!
Plus, it is located in a safe area!!!

Cons:

I just didn't like my view, that was it!!!!

Stains on bed comforter.... walls had.stuff dripping down in bathroom. One of the lights didn't working the room. Alot of rust around fixtures ex: metal shower rod..lamp base...... smelled like.smoke even though non smoking room... seriously send the extra 50 and go elsewhere.

Not worth the $
Pros:

Breakfast was a joke. A choice of prepackaged muffin or plain bagel was the option.

Cons:

We were supposed to be on a non-smoking floor. The entire floor, room, lobby smelled like cigarettes. Walls and ceilings were paper thin, hearing all of the walking above us at 5 am.

Carpet had stains, chairs in room had stains.

Hellhole fitting for DC.

Nothing.

Cons:

The staff were always on their phone and not wanting to welcome guests. The “hot breakfast” were just a bagel or muffin. And the mattress, can we talk about that? It’s designed for a temporary solution such as futon bed or something because the depth of the mattress is merely just few inches. The internet sucks. I can’t do anything on my laptop. And the shower, oh my, there’s grit and grime everywhere.

To sum up, I can say that it is acceptable.
Pros:

The location is good, the beds are good. The bathroom acceptable.

Cons:

The carpet has some smelling. Next time I would to be in room without carpet only hard wood on the floor. The air conditioner.

Pros:

The women at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Beds and pillows were okay. Room decor was nice.
I was able to get a better price through booking.com than the hotel was offering.

Cons:

The room smelled really bad, even though it appeared clean. The vending machines didn't work properly...one charged me nine dollars for a honey bun that didn't even come out!
The bathroom needed updating. The TV was terrible, crappy picture.
The room would not be worth paying over 200 dollars a night for which is what it would have cost if I hadn't booked through booking.com.
