Great hotel, excellent location in Karakoy
Pros:

Great location - 5 mins walk to Galata Tower and Galata Bridge.

Good rooms, comfy beds, aircon and powerful showers.

Helpful staff - we didn’t need them for anything but they were always polite, offering help and friendly to us.

Cons:

All good, no complaints.

Hôtel très bien placé, propre avec un personnel à l'écoute.

Hôtel remarquablement situé, Personnel à l'écoute. Une note particulière pour notre charmante EMINE du 2ème étage.

Cons:

Dommage que le 6ème soit en travaux et que nous n'ayons pas pu profiter du restaurant NISSIM.

Pros:

Excellent location in a tourist district close to metro station with plenty of cafés and restaurants. We got a room upgrade.

hotel idéalement situé
Pros:

L'hotel situé quartier animé mais bruyant , proche des transports en commun. Une bulle de quiétude après l'éffervescence de sultanahmet.
La chambre est spacieuse, bien équipée.

Cons:

les rideaux - Impossible d'avoir une chambre suffisamment sombre pour dormir la matin.

Good hotel that could be better
Pros:

This hotel has a main building and an additional building a few minutes walk (uphill).
I stayed in both buildings.
My first room in the main building, had double glazed windows overlooking the road, which let in alot of natural light. The a/c was adequate and quiet.room and bathroom exceptionally clean.
Breakfast was very generous in quantity and selection and was served on the rooftop on the other building with sensational views of Istanbul.

Cons:

My room in the additional building, was large however very dark. Windows looked into internal closed area which blocked any natural light. The a/c was very noisy. The bathroom was also very dark with inadequate lighting.
The assistance provided by the reception staff was inconsistent in both buildings. Some were friendly and helpful, while others were abrupt on their mobile phones. Very disappointing.
While not a major issues for me,
- the walk to the other building is uphill and may present a challenge to some. Hotel staff do take luggage to the other building at checkin.
- there are 8-10 steps to enter either building.
