Close to hospital

Cons:

We needed to be at hospital at 7 am. Lobby door was locked and sign stated it wouldn’t be unlocked until 9 am and there was no sign directing us on how to exit hotel. Was concerning safety issue.

we took one step in the room it was dirty had a roach and hair on the bed and the extra door lock was missing, we left immediately after to stay somewhere else. Also had problems with them taking payment from Booking.com and took over an hour to get checked in. The pictures do not match what the property looks like at all.

Just a sad and horrible experience especially during the holidays.

Didn't eat because they cut it off 9:30. I got up at 10 . I just wanted a cup of coffee and there was none.

I finally slept for a few hours.

Cons:

The guy working was rude. He set us up on the side of the building where their was a lot stop and go traffic. The room was nasty. The couch in the room had so many spots on it. The telephone in the room didn't work. The TV had no sound. He said he would give us another room but by the time he my husband and I decided we didn't want to stay there because we saw stuff that made us uncomfortable. Personally we felt like there was drug activity and prostitution going on. I asked if we could get our many back because I didn't feel comfortable. He said no, it was nonrefundable. My husband raised his voice after the man became rude. We went to the other room he gave us and it smelt like dog piss and bug spray. About that time it started escalating with the man after my husband said we haven't even stayed in the room therefore we should be able to be refunded because I didn't feel comfortable. My husband he was to call the police and the man said go ahead. Then I convinced my husband to stop talking because I was tired. The guy then said we had to leave. I started crying. We have been traveling across Texas for the holidays. I just wanted to sleep. Also After I paid the money for the the room the man said there was a $60.00 cash deposit. I didn't have it. He said it was ok. Just don't mess up the room. We didn't. We finally was told it was ok to stay. I didn't want no problems. It was just a horrible experience. The discount with Booking was simple and easy to use.
