Our family stayed for 4 days at Hotel 8 in Reedsburg. The rooms are excellent—fresh, clean, and well-maintained, with the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel (no back pain at all!). The staff was always helpful, and the in-room fridge and microwave were very convenient. We actually extended our stay day-by-day because we were so comfortable.
However, I was very disappointed with the breakfast. During our stay, there were no eggs, yogurt, or protein options available. We only had pancakes and cereal, but the milk ran out on the second day and wasn't replenished. For a family, this was a major letdown. We will definitely return for the rooms, but we hope the breakfast situation improves.
Easy to find
The hotel was filthy. From the moment I walked in, the service counter and side office door were opened. All kinds of paperwork was messily stacked all over, drawers had things sticking out of them. Papers , plastic bags. Attendant was short and unpleasant. The room had a cigarette burn on the comforter. No soap or shampoo in the room. The bathroom sink had cigarette burns all over which looked like bugs. Sheets looked dirty on one of the beds and the chair rails in the hallways looked like they hadn't been dusted in months. The breakfast was sad. Coffee, juice, waffles, syrup was out. No cups to make the waffles. Only fruit loops for cereal and just enough for 2 small bowls. No bagels or English muffins. No fruit. We ended up going to the nearest Kwik Trip for something better to eat.
The worst we ever have had
Strong smell in the lobby and common areas that felt filthy and dirty. The coffee machine was dirty. The “breakfast” was a joke and insult to the guests: stale breads, a few apples that were difficult to reach and the coffee tasted funny…This hotel had a very low bar for hospitality.

My booking dates got messed up. The person working that night went above and beyond. He made everything work out. Everything was clean and comfortable. I will definitely book with them again.
Continental breakfast wasn't very good. Only had bagel, toast or waffle options and the apple juice was so watered down it wasn't apple juice.
My truck was robbed if it's parts while we were sleeping
