affordable and comfortable accommodations with adequate, not high-end expensive toiletries.
Pros:

My room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. It was listed as for 'handicapped/wheelchair accessible room' and everything worked - good lighting, good tv. very comfortable and the magnetic keys worked just fine, something that doesn't always happen. The hotel/motel is not new, but pains have been taken to make it modernized with an adequate breakfast and coffee available early for the traveler who likes to get on the road. The check-in clerk was efficient and friendly.

Harmony was a little off key. A little tuning would make it a much better experience.
Pros:

The towels were fairly soft. Good selections on TV. WiFi worked for what I needed to do.

Cons:

To start, when we registered, the receptionist said out loud for all to hear, "You're in Room 310." Most hotels will not say your room number for security reasons. Also when we got to the room their was not chain or other device on the door like most hotels. Good thing we were in New Ulm where security might be less of a concern. When we got to the room it smelled like it had been occupied by dogs fairly often. It had that dog smell, which wasn't very pleasant. In the morning we bought some Fabreeze bathroom fresheners and by the time we returned for the second night the dog smell was covered up. The breakfast on weekdays is lame. Totally different on weekend. We stayed Thursday and Friday nights and experienced the difference. Why not the same level of breakfast all week? At least HyVee is across the street and you can get at good breakfast for $8.

Good clean accommodation
Pros:

We stayed for 2 nights to enjoy the Bavarian blast. Room and facilities were clean and comfortable. All the motel basics were provided and in good working order, including microwave and refrigerator, and breakfast provided included hot eggs & sausage and a self-serve waffle baker. It was a good value for our stay.

The person on staff when we had issues with our room was very helpful and nice!

Cons:

Our tub had a big crack in it that was fixed very poorly and the tub was chipping all over. We had been at bavarian blast dancing several hours and I couldn't relax in the tub because we didn't have hot water and the tub was disgusting! I soaked my feet in tub and there were things floating in the water from the crack/chipping. The toilet had pee pooled on the bottom where it connects to floor. No one cleaned it so there was pee and hair. ICK!! The staff gave us a room across the hall which was better except the toilet still wasn't cleaned. There wasn't pee but there was hair down where the toilet connects to floor. They obviously don't clean there. Also, for blankets they ONLY give you 1 sheet and then the top blanket is a glorified sheet. My husband and I slept terrible!! The 2nd night we went to Walmart and bought a comforter. I would not recommend this place. It is dirty and you don't get any blankets except 2 sheets!

❤️ Harmony Inn
Pros:

This was our 2nd stay here. The beds are very comfortable, the room was very clean and smelled fresh. We love the hard floors, they seem easier to be cleaned. The breakfast on weekends is excellent. We love the location as it is close to everything, & the staff is friendly & helpful. Love this place.

Cons:

There was a very brief power outage which knocked out the TV reception for a bit. There really wasn't anything the staff could do to avoid this. Just unfortunate.

Good stay
Pros:

Very nice front desk staff, good options on the free breakfast, easy to extend our stay when we unexpectedly needed another night, very stable and consistent wifi for a hotel, overall a quiet and well kept property. And it is always nice to have a mini-fridge in the room.
