Convenient and most comfortable!
Pros:

The refurbished room was very comfortable!
The young fellow who checked us in was impressive, polite and very accommodating.Acually our stay at this Super 8 motivated us to stay in another Super 8 on the way home.

Starker unangenehmer Geruch.
Das erste Zimmer roch (scheinbar durch die AC) stark nach Urin. Wir haben uns beschwert und ein neues Zimmer erhalten. Dieses roch dann nicht nach Urin, aber es roch sehr stark nach "Käsefuß" bis Fußpilz. Dieser Geruch ging scheinbar vom Teppich aus. Das Motel ist außerdem insgesamt sehr laut gewesen. Es wurden Tag und Nacht mit den Türen geknallt und Personen waren sehr laut in den Fluren. Das ist natürlich nicht Zwnagsläufig die Schuld der Motel-Betreiber, aber zeigt dass es keine gute Schallisolierung gibt. Die guten Bewertungen auf Booking.com decken sich nicht mit meinen Erfahrungen. Hier sind die Google-Rezensionen deutlich zutreffender.

There was a musty, humid, unpleasant smell in the room. I saw a bug crawl behind the base of the hairdryer. I tried to kill it but missed. I'm pretty sure it was a cockroach.

Grim--but bearable if it's urgent
Pros:

The staff was very nice. High compliments to them! I feel bad saying anything wrong with the place, given how nice they were.

Cons:

The interior was pretty grim. There was a cockroach on the wall (smashed it, didn't bother reporting, because it was after bed time and I needed to get sleep before an early departure). While surfaces were clean, there was an overall dank feel and smell (with a whiff of rotten fish?? or something like that). The beds are pretty small, but comfortable (though we were a couple, we slept in separate beds). The location is near the main drag, but nothing nice is really walkable nearby. The price was pretty high, but I assume that's just part of the "congestion pricing" (or gouging) that comes from graduation season crowding.

The location was not bad but definitely in a less charming area close to busy Rte 29.

Cons:

I think you could improve the reception area a bit - besides being a tiny room you can also see plenty of storage (boxes) behind the desk and the room is simply not inviting. Being the first impression your customers have of the hotel/motel this would be worth making more attractive/cozy. We did not like that you could hear everything in the hallway and out in the parking lot. There was a truck loading or unloading something around 5:30 and it was impossible to ignore and sleep through.
