Pros:

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. Pool was ok. Room was spacious and great for our stay.

Cons:

The "Hot tub" that was on the website is apparently no longer a Hot tub and is now a Spa. I guess they don't want to fix the hot tub. That was a little disappointing. And the sofa bed mattress is badly in need of replacement. Every spring pokes through. Made for less restful sleep, but made due. Also was told by staff if we needed fresh towels, to leave our dirty towels outside the door and they would replace them. We had to go get new towels every time. And they never emptied the garbage. So we set that outside the door also and used our own bags for garbage.

Nice but issues
Pros:

Good location, clean and the staff were very nice.

Cons:

The hot tub did not have properly working jets. A big disappointment. It was one of the reasons I chose this hotel only to be disappointed.

Convenient to highway, decent but overpriced for this dated hotel.
Pros:

Location to I-55 was great. Seemed like a safe area; easy parking in the lot.

Cons:

The room was dated; stains in the toilet & sink...our room was close to the pool so it seemed musty. For what we paid, we expected more.

A great stay
Pros:

The room was much larger than we expected. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had a nice selection--something for everybody. The staff made us feel very welcome.

Rooms and facility were clean. Beds (we had 2 queen beds) were comfortable. What we really liked were the two rooms - a room for sleeping (a bedroom) and a room for sitting, relaxing, reading, watching TV, etc. (a sitting room).

Cons:

Although the rooms were nice and clean, they were quite dated and could use some refreshing and updating.

Not a good hotel
Pros:

1. The hairdryer should have been replaced since the low function doesn't work and the high function sparks before working.

2. The breakfast was questionable, especially having no cereal.

3. The easy chair and the toilet were too low to the ground, making it difficult to get up when finished.

4. The internet was useless, only working anywhere from 10 seconds to a few minutes at a time before needing to be reconnected. Even calling the toll-free number was useless b/c they claimed that, due to a software issue, the internet would probably not be working. This needed to be told upon checkin.

5. There were ants in the room.
