Nothing
Desperately needs an update. Bathroom is in bad shape, mattress bad, bug hanging from ceiling
Room was comfrotable
Staff is HORRIFIC! No-one in reception for more than 45 minutes on arrival. Not a person in site. A staff member finally arrived, checked in another customer and then told me "no, you have to wait for the guy who checks people in, we were fully booked and I am still cleaning rooms." She then continued for 15 minutes about how busy they are while she could have checked me in. The room was not vacuumed properly and still had allot of things around the garbage can and safe on the floor. I stayed 2 days, on the first morning (I was only checking out the next day) someone knocked LOUDLY on the door at about 8.30 am, I first ignored it and then after the third knock I got up to see who it was. As I walked to the door it started unlocking. I opened the door and a cleaner was shocked to see me in the room. I said I am only checking out the next day what it the problem. She just said "oh".... Who is NOT managing this hotel needs to be fired! It is pathetically run! No one to answer phones, no one to welcome guests at reception and not enough staff to get rooms clean quick enough. This hotel is going to go under if the owners do not do something about this place. Oh... and the Christmas decorations were still up in reception... it is almost June people!
I had a very disappointing experience with this location of Super 8.
I accidentally booked the wrong hotel and called within 10 minutes to cancel. The front desk staff told me it would not be a problem to receive a refund, but that I needed to go through Booking.com since that’s where I made the reservation. I followed those instructions immediately, and Booking.com submitted the request to the property.
Since then, it has been weeks of no response from the hotel. I’ve been told the manager would follow up, but no one has called or replied. Now I’m being told the room was “held,” which directly contradicts what I was told when I called right after booking.
The lack of communication and accountability here is extremely unprofessional. A simple callback or response would go a long way, but being completely ignored after multiple attempts to resolve the issue is unacceptable.
I would strongly caution others when booking here, especially if you need any kind of customer service or flexibility.
It was a room. And they had an iron on request, but no ironing board. The room had all the amenities you would expect. It was fine and cheap
The place was dirty, and it smelled bad. There was dirt and debris all over the carpeted floors and some of the doors were broken so there was only one way to get into the building. Also there were stains on the sheets but they didn't smell so I didn't complain. There was no ironing board to iron things. Also it's next to a very loud road so you are woken up at all hours due to the vehicular traffic.
Very good hotel, with lots of car parking and close to town thank you
Nothing of note
Very dirty.
