I went to Sedona to visit my sister and knew that I could not stay with her because there just wasn't room. So I planned for my hotel room to be home base, and the Aiden by Best Western suited me perfectly. There was plenty of hot water, a great bed, tons of towels, a safe, a coffee maker with free coffee, and a hair dryer. Oh, and plenty of hangers in the closet. I never had to ask for anything. When I checked in, I was told that the room would be cleaned only if I requested house keeping, and that was perfect for me. I appreciate knowing exactly what to expect, and I was happy knowing that no one would enter my room when I was gone. My stay was only 5 nights and, since I had plenty of towels, I didn't need freshening of the room. Also, I popped into the reception area each day to grab some coffee for the next morning. So easy! Finally, I had a balcony room on the third floor, and that was lovely, especially early in the morning. I had a decent view and enjoyed sitting out there as the sun came up.
Quick check in, nearby restaurants, heated pool, cable tv. Loved the deck w/views, & the Melody's Cow drink.
Bed was not quite as firm as I like.
This was a quick one night visit, but the hotel was very nice and well maintained. The staff was very friendly.

Breakfast was good but pricey. Pool area is nice. Complimentry sodas were appreciated. Everything was clean. Balcony was great.
Room was small, bathroom was tiny, not much room for personal toiletries. OK for 1 or 2 nights but wasn’t fun for a 4 night stay. Also dirty towels and trash accumulated due to only a “by request “ housekeeping service.
LOCATION, ROOM CONFORT, SERVICE
Just coffee and fruit.
Very disappointing as a BW. High priced and sub standard.
In our 70’s and elevator was broken; no first floor rooms offered and no assistance with luggage up the stairs. Dirty, candy wrappers under the bed and on the floor, bathroom small, AC unit very loud, housekeeper walked into our room using her key, unannounced when we were resting. Not a good place to stay! Had great plans for Sedona but could not manage the stairs to leave and come back for sightseeing or dinner.
This is a really nice hotel for the price. The rooms are clean. The bed was comfortable. It has everything you need, including a pool, massage chair, and a fire pit.
So what pray tell makes me take off three stars? The rooms have one of those old school alarm clocks built in. It was set for 6 AM, on the one day of this entire trip that we were supposed to sleep in. The hotel staff did not bother checking that when turning over the rooms I guess. The most obnoxious high-pitched alarm, that sounds like a smoke detector, jolting me awake. I spent three minutes trying to figure out how to turn it off, and I couldn’t unplug it because it was hardwired into the back of the bed or something, no visible access to the plug. So much for the one good night of sleep I was supposed to get on this trip. Note to hotel staff: if you’re gonna put alarm clocks in the room, make sure they are not set when guests arrive. We can set our own alarms. Please and thanks.
Our room was amazing. Beautiful views from our balcony! The beds were comfortable as long as you didn’t get too close to the broken down edges. Truly the only thing that keeps me from leaving 5 stars was zero breakfast. Expensive best western without breakfast just leaves me feeling like I didn’t get my money’s worth.
Close to restaurants
Staff was rude. Basically a glorified motel.
Nice staff, clean.
1960s era motel that has had a few upgrades.
Far overpriced for what you get. Terrible bed. No breakfast offered except a 10% discount coupon at an overpriced restaurant. No community maps offered. Grungy elevator and hall.
Location
No coffee available, room upstairs in back with no view
This was a great stay in Sedona off the main drag and away from the traffic in town. Beds were comfortable and we loved having a patio with terrific views of the red rocks. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Also enjoyed the fire pit area fainting views of a sunset
Sky. Plenty of restaurant choices near. Highly recommend the golden goose next door!
