Surprised, don't judge it from 1st impressions.
Rooms are lovely, massive TV, beds superb. Good clean rooms. Some lovely restaurants local. Good bar opposite. Friendly

Cons:

Hopefully, they are getting round to do the exterior.
Needs some love. ❤️

The rooms were very nice, updated, clean, and quiet. There was a refrigerator, microwave, and big TV.

Cons:

The outside appearance looked a bit run down. Fortunately it was a big contrast to the inside of the rooms which were updated and clean.

Simple, convenient, and comfortable.
Pros:

The hotel was simple but comfortable and offered good value for the price. It was very convenient for our visit to UCI, and having a Japanese supermarket nearby was especially helpful. Overall, it worked very well for our needs.

Cons:

There was nothing in particular that we disliked. The only minor issue was that we could hear quite a bit of footsteps and movement from the room above early in the morning. It may have just been due to the guests staying there at the time.
