The room smelled, the carpet was extremely stained, the staff were unfriendly, and the beds were uncomfortable. There were gnats flying around in the bathroom and there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling. The website pictures misrepresent the hotel.

Pros:

Clean, well maintained. Breakfast was a plus whem available. The morning we were departing 7:00 am. NOTHING was ready except coffee. Disapointing because wr had to get on the road.

Cons:

As above plus staff could be more informed. Asked about dinner locations...no help. Asked for more linens could barely understand English...friendly but should be able to understand simple requests.

Generally, comfortable, clean and quiet.
Pros:

Breakfast selection are reasonable offered and fresh. Like it, that 2 Breakfast Day was offered different menu.

Cons:

Morning, Front desk person was not familiar with the town, cannot answer with a question about getting around with local transportation.

Quick overnight ok. Couldn't stay longer.
Pros:

The location was excellent. And the price was excellent as well.

Cons:

It seemed dirty and they were covering it up with smelly products.
The outside is in need of landscaping.

Enjoyable stay, highly recommend!
Pros:

The location was very convenient for our stay while visiting the coastal Maine area. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was a nice suprise, offering warm eggs, sausage and a variety of breads and bagels as well as cereal, coffee, tea and several juices. The outdoor seating area made it great to bring our dog along.

Cons:

The carpeting in the hallways was not in the best condition but it appears that the facility is currently experiencing some renovation.

Small bedrooms but well kept, bedroom and shower were decent and clean.
Pros:

The hotel was nice, family type, clean,organized but expect to squeeze between double beds. Apart from that, everything was ok - nice shower, good size of tv screen, AC was functioning well. The breakfast is the average american breakfast, nothing standing out:same old same, eggs, patties, donuts, bagels, juice. The breakfast area is in the front unit, quite a small dining room area but at 8:30 AM, we had no problem finding a spot to seat. Beds were comfy. I like the fact that the towels had a decent size and seemed to be well kept. In the surroundings area there are many options of food and there is a nice brewery almost in front of the hotel. The Hannaford supermarket is a 5 minute ride by car.

Cons:

Room is way too small for a double bed unit. You have to be prepared that there is no much space there. We spent just a couple of nights there so it was okay for us.

Pros:

Reasonably priced property. Good location. No pool. Biggest problem we had is they don’t ever answer the phone. They don’t even pick up if you call from the room and there’s no option to leave a message. We had four housekeepers in the hall when we checked in but had no soap or coffee in the room. Hallway carpet was drenched in several areas. Not a property I’d stay at again . You get what you pay for right?

The most important element is SLEEP: Great mattress and pillows
Pros:

It had a good ‘vibe’. Neat as a pin , close to Portland. The little pad II outside was perfect with its grill, tables, chairs , and fire pit. I created a very extra special touch. Also the breakfast was fabulous!

Cons:

Nothing -
However — an extra grab bar in the bathtub might be useful. Anther suggestion off off season marketing would be :: a shuttle bus into Portland !
