Days Inn by Wyndham Hornell NY

We had a great trip. The hotel was clean and the breakfast tasted good. They do need to update the address on Google, because it took us to the wrong place.

Roxanna greeted us with a smile. She was very accommodating of our needs. The WHOLE staff was very welcoming, even though they were short-staffed. We were there for 7 days. Every day, someone would ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Now, that is customer service! We will Definitely recommend.

Dirty and stinky

It was an ok stay but when we first checked in it was awful. I had booked 2 rooms gotten email for both the rooms and when . We checked in she said we only have 1 room….. come to find out it was under my mom…….. not sure why I got the email for both it it wa sunder 2 names very stressful and wasted over. 1/2 he trying to figure it out

I'm pretty sure this will be our last visit to Days Inn through Hotels.com. i reserved a king size bed. We were given a room with two full size beds. This is the second time this has happened ( at least they were queens 1st time). Apparently theres no guarantee when you book with outside services. We tried to make the best of it, there were two beds....both had a metal frame and one bed sounded like sheet metal being shaken. Every small movement was horribly load. Floors were sticky and there was a piece of food under the chair. We have stayed here often and were ok with the not perfect conditions. This hotel is closest to our destination but we won't be using it in the future.

perfect to stay, right off highway, staff friendly, rooms clean.

Quiet and friendly atmosphere

This hotel was terrible the customer service was below subpar. No one came out to greet us when we arrived we had to wait, when the guy finally came out he barely made contact with us as we were made to check in through mobile prior to check in along with a message to rate them ahead of time wow I wonder why lol...we were just given our key once the guy finally came out from the back with no conversation, at least he acknowledged us unlike the desk person from this morning that we never had a chance to meet even after repeated attempts by ringing the bell and even calling out no one came. The room was filthy with a toilet that didn't work properly, the place smelled like wet dog and smoke we were not given info about breakfast times clearly since the check in guy didn't talk to us, so as we came down at 9 the cleaner said it was done at 9 and we were there just as she was wiping down she could have at least offered a coffee but nope she was miserable.. Absolutely terrible customer service you need some re-training I would expect this from a no name motel not a name brand...I will never go back there and I would like to give it a zero

The only complaint is there were bug traps and mold in the shower.
When I told the staff it was ignored.

Staff was great. Rooms were clean. Only thing bad was our toilet fill valve was loud and needs replacement, but toilet worked and we weren't staying long, so no big deal.

Check in was a horrible experience. The desk clerk claim that I owed a balance after receiving a receipt from Expedia that I had paid in full finally, she was able to call tech and figure it out, but she said that I should’ve not gone through a third-party to rent my room she tried to make me feel like it was my fault that I was stupid and that I had no idea what I was talking about.

The bathroom facilities were not ADA compliant. The toilet was lower than the tub. I have a prosthetic leg and to sit down was incredibly painful and to get up was incredibly hard. I could not use the shower.

We discovered three separate black beetle bugs in the room. We notified room service and supposedly they were going to check for bugs.

The room was musty smelling, and there were several days where we had to put our garbage outside for them to come and empty it.

Not a bad place. Airconditioning loud!

The only thing we did not like was the microwave was not clean on the inside on top (food splatters).

We had a good stay

I stayed 3 nights. I had a room with a step-in shower. The hose/shower head was of very poor quality. It was impossible to place the shower head in the holder, and have it point down; it would always turn itself to point out into the direction of the rest of the bathroom. The curtain was too short to contain the water flow at the bottom, and it left me with a flooded bathroom and hallway. The night clerk brought a laundry basket of clean towels to mop it all up. The continental breakfast was disappointing as they had no butter of any kind to go with the waffles and the many types of bread offered. The last day they ran out of cream cheese for the bagles.
