We love the room and the beds. We will definitely want to return and stay again.

Perfect location, walking distance to west lake and boarding for the ferry tour is also within walking distance

Loved the West Lake and Shangri-La hospitality at Horizon club.
Pros:

Love the location which is near West Lake and just 5-8mins walk from Impressions of West Lake performance. However be prepared for the heavy traffic around the hotel and plan your schedule to accommodate for that.

Pressure for showerhead was strong which was much appreciated.

The staff at Horizon Club especially Ms Kitty Zheng were very helpful and made us felt at home. Ms Kitty Zheng was really kind and dedicated. She advised and assisted with our bookings for the attractions including a musuem in Shanghai; as well as booking for a ride to the train station using her personal mobile number as we couldn’t book one on the DiDi app. That really saved our day and made us felt the Shangrila hospitality. We will definitely book at Shangri-La again if we come back to Hangzhou.

Cons:

Room is a little dim and old. Facilities especially the toilet could be refurbished.

Pros:

The room offers a wonderful view of the scenic West Lake. The staff members are very helpful. In particular, I wish to give my compliments to the amiable staff members of the lounge and restaurant.

Cons:

Hangzhou is renowned for the tidal bore of Qiantang River. I think all visitors to Hangzhou should have watching the tidal bore on their agenda. Being the first time visitor to Hangzhou, I am no exception. But when I asked a male staff member at the reception counter of the hotel (10:05pm on 9 Oct) about the information on the tidal bore, that staff member simply and bluntly replied having no information in hand without offering any hint or other advice.

I am not sure if the manner of that staff member only reflected his own problem, having nothing to do with the overall training staff of the hotel.

Look forward to a better experience for my next visit to the hotel.

Pros:

黄金位置，适合沉浸式体验西湖，去各个景点也很方便。

Cons:

硬件明显年久老旧、处处充斥着一种潮湿霉腐的气味。没有大堂酒廊，没有晚餐自助。早餐没有想象中的那么好，中餐厅的水准一般。酒店空调冷风强劲，晚上必须关闭入睡。
