Motel 6-Somers Point, NJ - Ocean City - Wild Wood Beach

We were on the second floor, there is not an elevator nor a way to have hot water for a tea or coffee. It was 50 degres or less during the day.They don't offer hot water in the lobby. There is a microwave and paper caps and you have to work with it, up and down in the stairs.The only smiley face I saw there was the cleaning lady, also the only one who asked if I needed something.

There wasn’t even a soda machine. No complimentary coffee. Manager rather rude and didn’t care about your stay.

Door to bathroom dirty

the room had a bad smell every time I left and came back it was like a wet smell the walls had dust all over them specially behind the bed
The rooms look nothing like the pictures

Para el precio estuvo más menos. No te cambian las sábanas, los aire acondicionados estaban llenos de polvo. Y la higiene no es muy buena.

I booked on line, requesting a 1st floor do to disability. The male front desk stated he couldn't change my booking and I suggested I could cancel it and pay extra for 1st floor. He refused. This is a small motel six with approx 30 rooms, no elevator. That night only five cars in the lot, mine the front desk. So there was plenty of open rooms. TheY put me on the second floor , walked up steps, with my luggage at the back of the hotel. The carpet in the hallway smelled like mold. The room was located next to an area that appeared to be under construction, removal possibly a washer area. THEN WHEN I CHECKED OUT ,AFTER TWO NIGHTS, THE FRONT DESK MAN CAN AROUND THE CORNER TO THE DESK DRESSED IN A TEE SHIRT AND UNDERPANTS. SO NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.

I feel after visiting this hotel multiple times they could make an effort to update some of their rooms. The shower hardware could use updating as well as door to bathroom. The beds could use a pillow topper to make them a little more comfortable and possibly a loveseat would be nice as there is plenty of room to make space a little more comfortable

AC is too loud. No coffee machine in the lobby or in the room.

Staff could have been more friendly

They allow pets but will not let you leave them unattended in the room so when I went to dinner I had to take them with me and leave them in the car. This would not work if the weather was warmer. There is no designated "pet" area or even a patch of grass to take the dogs to. I had to walk a half a block and cross the street to find grass.
It took 3 tries/3 rooms to find one that the TV worked and the bathroom fan didn't make a horrible noise when running.
There was no hair dryer or microwave in the room. So make sure you bring your own dryer. There is a microwave in the lobby that they allowed me to use. I stay at Motel 6 all of the time because I always travel with my dogs but this was the worst one I have been in. Very disappointing.
