Pros:

I loved the overall design of the property, clean and modern with close proximity to the airport and its free shuttle. We took advantage of the nearby light rail system to travel into downtown Denver.

Wonderful stop in Denver!
Pros:

Helpful staff prepared the room with extra pillows and made the sofa bed in advance. Breakfast was delicious, clean, and uncrowded.

Our stay was comfortable and convenient. It was a good price for our needs.

Very nice comfortable and productive stay with a great staff and facility.
Pros:

I travel and live abroad in South America. Breakfasts at hotels in Japan, South America, Mexico, Central America and Europe are much better than the US hotels. They have more choices of fresh foods. Where US hotels serve more processed foods. However, the staff serving breakfast was outstanding. The staff at the Hyatt Place Pena Station is fantastic! Their service is professional, caring, kind, and sincere. Housekeeping, the kitchen, bar, shuttle drivers and front desk all gave us exceptional service. That is why we returned to the hotel the last two days of our trip before departing Denver. Also, the hotel is a short walk from the Pena Station and has nice shuttles to the Gaylord Resort and Airport. Since most of the hotels around the airport are so far from shopping, Denver Metropolitan, and restaurants you are dependent on long Uber rides. The Hyatt Place offers you alternative rides at lower cost.

Cons:

Like most hotel breakfasts in USA that are frequented by families, couples, and single travelers, nourishing fresh foods with more choices should be served. However, Hyatt's breakfast was a step in the right direction compared to the other hotels I have used in the US.

Not a secure location
Pros:

Good location, near the airport

Cons:

My car was broken into…staff was not helpful. The property uses another company you have to pay to leave your car there but they don’t do anything to protect the cars left there. I left for a weeklong trip and came back to a huge mess of busted glass. This hotel should secure this parking lot and ensure customers cars are safe.

Cons:

I arrived with my daughter to Denver airport after 1:30am. We picked up a rental car and drove to the Hyatt, frankly quite exhausted after a 12 hour flight to Chicago followed by a 6 hour layover at Chicago O'Hare and then a late flight to Denver. When we arrived at the hotel (around 3:40am at that point), it took me quite a long time to try to pay for the parking electronically because service to my international phone number wasn't working - and I couldn't get the code to approve the payment. I'm grateful that they allowed me to pay the fee at the front desk - but there really should be an alternative payment method for people in my situation. Or at least a sign in the parking lot instructing people that they can pay at the front desk. Not customer friendly at all.

Secondly, the AC in our room (210) was so loud that we finally turned it off. Not ideal in the August heat but otherwise there was no way we could have slept.

Did not eat the breakfast

Cons:

I would only suggest that they give more on hummus on their Hummus platter. One small condiment container was absurd. I do not eat a lot of food and look for healthy dishes so when I ordered this meal and found maybe 2 ounces of hummus with olives and pita, I found it out of balance.
I also did not like the $17 parking fee.
