If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
We checked in as a family, and the front desk gave us a key to a room that was already occupied by another family. We opened the door and walked into a room where people were staying. It was incredibly embarrassing and, more importantly, a huge safety and security issue. If we had access to their room, that means someone else could have been given access to ours.
What made the situation even worse was the staff’s reaction. They didn’t seem to understand how serious this mistake was and treated it like it was just a minor inconvenience instead of a major security failure.
Because of their mistake, we didn’t get into our room until midnight since they claimed they had no other rooms available. To “make it right,” they offered us an additional room because the only rooms left had one bed. Now we’re being charged for the extra room that was only needed because of their error.
This entire experience was stressful, exhausting, and completely unacceptable. No guest should have to worry about being given access to someone else’s room or someone else being given access to theirs. I would not recommend staying here if you value your family’s safety or expect competent customer service.
Hotel on the outside looks nice but I spoke with two different employees regarding ants in our room. The first employee, I spoke with apologized profusely and told me he would send someone from housekeeping to check it out. Later on that day we experienced the same thing and I spoke with someone again and was told they were full and I couldn’t be moved. My parents whose name the reservation was under went to the front desk again and they were going to send up engineering right away. They gave my parents their Marriot points back but the issue wasn’t really resolved just compensated for so to speak. We demanded Lysol to “clean our room” with because despite being told that housekeeping had been up to our room to clean it, it attempt to solve the problem was clear that it hadn’t been trash was still in the trashcan.There was a coffee stain on the counter, and the bed was not made. Be cautious check your room before you commit.
I did not like that parking was not free or included. Also no complimentary breakfast.

A spa would have been nice but doesnt break the overall quality.
It was clean, parking was easy, and the location was good.
My room did not have any air-conditioning. I called the front desk, but no one answered. I went down to the front desk twice that evening telling him my air was not working. It was 82° in my room and difficult to sleep in that heat. I checked out the next day, told the person at the front desk. I didn’t have any air conditioning, and he didn’t care.
Our stay was for two nights.
Accommodations: Roomy with comfortable bed and a very comfortable lounge chair with a detached foot rest. Bathroom has a good sized walk in shower, while the toilet is equipped with a washlet.
Amenities: Starbucks coffee located in lobby area and the 555 restaurant, located in hotel, has a good selection of entrees. Their pear salad was delicious!
Cleanliness: Exceptional
Location: Easy on/off of the I-10. Walking distance to a Ralph's grocery store, popular asian restaurants, movie theater and a HeyTea shop.
Service: Very friendly and helpful. Inquired about purchasing flowers and was given good advice and directions.
Parking: Plenty of self parking underneath the hotel. Parking area very well lit. Cost was $20 a night.
Recommend eating at gram cafe & pancake shop and taking in a delicious tea drink at heytea - all located directly across the street from the hotel on Atlantic Blvd.
