Old furniture and unfriendly stuff on the check in. We changed the room twice. We asked for a room to the other side of the street. We got one the next day, but the AC was not working. We booked for 3 nights, but left after the first night.
I like that it was very clean and comfortable
I felt racism
The hotel was lovely, clean and renovated room. Staff was very polite and professional, great food and good service
The main restaurant dining room closed on Sunday pm....only bar seating available and short staffed.
Also, pool had wig hairs and water was very cloudy
Some.places online say hot tub but it was closed out couple years ago
The breakfast buffet was excellent with many choices as well as vegetables and breads. The staff was very friendly and respectful.
The room was very clean but the fixtures are outdated. They needed to be upgraded many years ago. Particularly in the bathroom.
The staff and the food in the bar area was fantastic! Lunch and dinner great. The salmon and the dessert was perfect!
I would not recommend Breakfast.
Location
Water view
Breakfast
Housekeeping needs training or to be overseen.
Room was not that clean. Sheets looked a mess and floors in the bathroom were definitely NOT mopped between visitors.
Location, views from restaurants
Requested water view but unless you are on first floor you can’t see it
Also water view is actually next to very loud highway !
The front desk was exceptional I believed Jeff was at the front. Staff was understanding and patient. the room was great and was exactly what was seen on the website but exceeded my expectations.
me and my wife enjoyed it and plan on making that our hotel of choice during any visit that we make to Ohio in the future.
N/A
The Staff at the reception very friendly and great location .
We don't recommend this hotel at all.
Housekeeping and maintenance very bad.
My daughter got a blanket completely filled with dark mold, absolutely disgusting and unhealthy, and worse than that when we asked to changed it they did it but left the filthy one in the floor in the middle of the room.
Disgusting.
We will not came again.
Nothing. This was an absolutley horrifying, racist experience.
We arrived at approximately 12:30 a.m. with a valid reservation, only to find the front desk unattended for an extended period of time. After waiting and attempting to locate an employee behind the counter area, a front desk staff member named Mike suddenly approached us in an aggressive and confrontational manner.
Rather than assisting us professionally, the employee became hostile, accused us of wrongdoing for attempting to locate hotel staff, and ultimately refused to honor our reservation. We were then ordered to leave the property in the middle of the night, and the police were called despite the fact that we were paying guests attempting to check into a confirmed reservation.
Being turned out onto the street after midnight with no accommodation — particularly after being treated aggressively by hotel staff — was one of the worst experiences my family has had, and we've lived all over the world.. I also believe that if both my wife and I had been White, we would've received a different reception. Mike wouldn't even look at my wife, who is Latina, during an extended exchange.
This was NOT an isolated incident. The three cops who showed up after Mike called the police (wasting taxpayer dollars) were very nice, but said they couldn't do anything to force the Sheraton to honor our reservation and admit us. They rolled their eyes and told us that Mike does this on a frequent basis. HOW IS SHERATON ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN?
Clean and nice location.
Had paid on booking.com. Told the girl behind desk. She claimed she needed my card for incidentals and ended up charging me full price plus another 60. Once I brought it to her attention, the man working with her assured me he would fix it. Still not fixed yet.
Good food at the restaurant despite this tile. Saw running 20 ft away throughout the whole meal. Good beds, good pillows
Having just spent 2 months bedridden I searched for a place with a hot tub and a swimming pool. Looks like the hot tub had been boarded up for years. The sauna was also out of order, the only thing that could have made swimming in the cold pool tolerable. The furnace in the room blew cold air at my bed all night long even though I had it turned up to 80°. The coffee in the room was horrendous in the morning. When I sat down on the toilet and heard a splash, I realized that the water level in the toilet was a couple only a few inches from the seat. Absolutely freaking disgusting. It looks like a toilet made for a 6-year-old. For the more than $250 bill for the night and $50 meal I had choices. I will certainly never make this mistake again
