Great value, great place to stay
Pros:

The Dunes Inn is a great place to stay when visiting the Alamosa area. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was good and save me a trip finding food in the morning. Would recommend and stay here again.

Overrated and expensive for a Motel 6 standard motel with no facilities.
Pros:

The location suited us en route from Colorado to Texas

Cons:

The Inn was just a Motel 6 two story rooms only, with no facilities. The beds were sprung and uncomfortable, the shower was pathetic and it was just B&B with breakfast was off the premises from 7am. The office only open from 7am to 9pm and it was very expensive and not four star that they claimed. Very poor value for money and quality.
Fortunately, they are now building new Hilton and IHG hotels in the town.

Mold in bathroom window tracks . Dirt in corners. Bath towels were so thread bare YOU COULD SEE THRU THEM!!! Bed set up made an extraordinary amt of noise.

Quaint. Perfect. 40 minutes outside of Great Sand Dunes National Park
Pros:

Check in, size of room and love the brick walls. Large refrigerator and microwave, Neighboring Cafe offered free breakfast.

We have stayed at the Dunes before. It is very nice, comfortable and clean, which we appreciate
Pros:

It was a short trip. We arrived at 11PM, and left at 4:30PM.

Cons:

We wish we could have enjoyed the breakfast, but our trips plans forced us to leave early in the AM.
