Very good
Pros:

All staff members were very nice and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated but ours was very spacious and had a comfortable couch in it.

Cons:

The balcony door was a bit hard to open and there was no hot water in the shower, though that may not be unusual in the area.

The hostess is amazing. She was great about arranging taxi from airport, and bringing us fruit during breakfast.

Large hotel with a lot of potential after a few small improvements
Pros:

The room was large. There was a little swimming pool which was nice to cool down. Staff was very friendly. The hotel was very clean. It gave me a vibe of the old colonial hotels but maybe in need of a small upgrade.
It's only 5 minute walk to the beach. I think its size makes it an excellent choice for large groups of foreigners who need to be in Almadies.

Cons:

The showerhead was broken. Couldn't get the TV to work but didn't try hard. Breakfast was very basic. There was no soap or other toiletries.
The area may not be everyone's cup of tea as it's on a small dirt road, hardly suited for cars.

Superb
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at Littoral des Almadiea. Fatima and Khadija are great hosts, breakfast is cooked to order,, the place is spotless and the location just a few steps from the main Almadies strip down to Pointe Almadies is bery good. It's not fancy by any means but very good value, especially for familiess.

the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable, even when there was a hitch with water on my departure day, the staff improvised and I was able to shower and eat before departure!!
