- wir bekamen zwei Einzelbetten obwohl wir ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett gebucht haben. Es war kein Wechsel möglich, die zwei Betten wurden nur zueinander geschoben
- von unserem „Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick“ war leider kaum das Meer zu sehen (weil die Pinien einfach zu hoch sind). Der Blick auf die Pinien ist auch sehr nett, aber wir hatten uns etwas anderes erwartet, hier kann man sich den Meeres-Aufpreis sparen ;-)
- es sind fast ausschließlich Familien mit Kindern dort, daher ist es rund um alle Pools sehr laut und wer ein ruhiges Plätzchen sucht, wird hier schwer fündig (für Aufenthalt mit Kindern aber top)
- die Preise im Resort sind ungerechtfertigt hoch!! (1 Aperol 18€, 1 Bier 8€, Hauptgerichte zwischen 30-50€) Vor allem das Restaurant Mare am Strand hat sehr hohe Preise für kleine Portionen
Tipp: Gleich bei der Resort Einfahrt gibt es einige Lokale, hier kann man gut und zu fairen Preisen essen und trinken
- Liegen am Strand sind sehr eng aufgestellt und immer voll - kriegt man nur, wenn man sehr früh morgens dran ist oder wieder ab ca 17 Uhr (als Alternative bekommt man aber einen Liegestuhl auf Wunsch)
Unser Zimmer, Maisonette Suite, war wirklich sehr schön gelegen und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal war überall sehr, sehr freundlich. Die Restaurants, egal ob Lunch oder Dinner, waren allesamt sehr gut. Reservierungen für Abends unkompliziert über den Concierge möglich. Die Pools waren sehr sauber. Der Zimmerservice war auch wirklich schnell und das Essen sehr gut und wenn ein Fehler passiert ist, wurde dieser sofort korrigiert. Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden.
Ein wenig Schade war, dass trotz überall Schilder standen, dass „Liegenreservierer“ nicht geduldet werden, teilweise Liegen an den Pools über viele Stunden mit einem Buch oä reserviert wurden und dies geduldet wurde. Außerdem war der Weg vom Aufzug zum Strand noch sehr weit und man muss viele Stufen überwinden auf dem Weg dorthin. Gerade für Ältere und Menschen die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, kaum machbar.

The facilities and resort in general are very good if you want to be active.
The swimming pool areas were overcrowded with no one following rules and no one telling them about it. Noisy unruly children.
The food quality of the various restaurants is poor for the price. It’s actually extremely overpriced in that area, much better to go out of the resort to eat. You eat better and cheaper.
Pool service was not up to standard compared to other hotels in Vilamoura

We come all the time. It’s a fabulous resort
It took us 2 hours to get a room. The first room presented to us only had 2 beds for 3 people so we had to upgrade and pay an additional €150 to get a room with a sofa bed. The whole process took 2 hours when all we wanted to do after travelling was to have showers and freshen up, then go for dinner..
